Reception wise dekhe to best ha dost Aur sound quality dekho to Jazz type sound ha (neither treble nor bass)... It's tuning will be difficult coz it is a DSP chip based radio..so you need to tune it slowly.. Once it is tuned to a channel it will give you the best reception...

You will not believe how much happy I found myself when i saw your reply in order to explain me in detail, i would like to tell you that when i was only eight years old in 2000 , i had started listening radio. I have used almost 12 radios so far like Paramount, Ramsons, Reiko, Now Philips Looks like same as this one bought in 2004, One more thing which is extremely important i belong to rural area, a village named Sundara सुन्दरा इटावा जिला में पड़ता है। I watch your every uploaded video but never like for which i am very sorry
Bro first of all,, you need to go on the roof & tune your radio slowly.. You'll definitely find more fm station from distance about 150 km range approx with its weep antena If you didn't found any station on roof by it's weep antena,, then you should not use extenal antena.. & one more thing to tell. Mostly long distance radio stations comes on vertical antena position.. So tune your radio on vertical position (straight) to find far radio stations And Thankyou for commenting on my channel😊✌

Even with external antenna my philips rl384 new radio won't recieve signals from distant radio stations. (Bangalore is 180 km from my place)
