This whole recital is a gem: Dr. Elliott's opening work in 7/8 time is beyond snazzy! I believe that the renowned British composer John Rutter also wrote an organ toccata in 7/8 time. There's something uniquely propulsive about a toccata in 7/8. The Nutcracker finale is amazing. Not only is the pedalwork dazzling, but the manual parts are astonishingly virtuosic. Prof. Howard's comments on the hardships endured by the Mormon pioneers as they celebrated Christmas for the first time in their new home provides food for thought...a remarkable heritage.
Its beautiful, love to hear that such music instruments who bring joy to the people.gratitude for all making such wonderful events!⚘GOD be with you all🙏
