I don't know if it's just my ears playing tricks on me but I think you might've missed a couple notes (not anything that tarnishes the roll of course ;)). I do really recommend relistening to the transcription and the actual scan side by side in future transcriptions, missing notes in rare rolls can be quite a problem in the recutting industry. Nice job and keep it up!
Before I export any MIDI file which was created using a scan, I do exactly that. This time was no exception. But still, I can still check again to make sure.
@@InsignifyMusic This one isn't worth the second check I don' think, it sounds accurate enough to be a recut master. Winter Wonderland, White Christmas and Dominique are the only ones with minor errors
I've re-checked my quantized MIDI file in comarison to the scan. There are no missing notes. The only difference note-wise between my file and the scan are 5 extra notes which were not deleted when I copied over repeated sections. The extra notes existed because the repeats in the original arrangement differ by one or two notes to prior sections. I can't tell if John Honnert meant to do this or not, but regardless, the MIDI file I've made public is now identical to the roll scan.
@@PiotrBarcz I'll update the Dominique MIDI file soon. As for the other two, I used a scan for White Christmas and Winter Wonderland was transcribed without a scan. When I find the time, I'll re-check the rolls themselves and update the MIDI accordingly, since I own those two.
Nice
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The third video on all of RUclips featuring this song!
Wow your videos and thumpnails are absolute epic! =) Keep it up my friend, I hope to hear more from you soon =)
This song was referred to in the book Cujo, by Stephen King.
I might actually succeed making sheet music from this!
This is theoretically public domain content as the Supertone company has been gone for over 50 years.

@@InsignifyMusic Ah ok, that makes sense. I have a scan of White Christmas and Winter Wonderland by the way. I also own both rolls!
