I honestly think having dual monitors is so worth it in terms of productivity. The keyboard/display combo seems like a cool idea but you might as well get another display for that price.
I think at $250, if you don't already have a nice mechanical keyboard and you don't want to add a ton of space to your desk it makes sense. With its normal MSRP and/or if you've already got a good board, I agree.
He's recommending great gadgets that are the type of "niche but great" things. I can tell he put a lot of effort into the selection, especially since there's such a wide range of options. People know a second monitor is an option, he would add no value by saying "get a second monitor". (and he wouldn't because he doesn't like them) There's someone out there that will benefit from being made aware of that device. No value would be added if he recommended another monitor.
It also looks like something that with a screen protector, could make sense for luggage / big backpacks. If you have some extra desk space while out and a 2-in-1, I can see myself using the laptop in tent mode as the side screen with info lookup and the KB screen in center for the word processor. Much nicer KB than any laptop, and less desk space than laptop + portable screen _+ keyboard._

I always get so excited when you publish a new video because you bring a level of care and thoroughness to your content, not to mention wit and humor, that simply cannot be found in many other places (if any). You can always tell that you're genuinely not only interested but passionate and just geeky about the things you talk about and its truly refreshing.
I can personally testify to the excellence of the Aurora A8. I wish the design was less cylindrical, and I could wish for a different button setup, but it definitely packs a powerful punch light-wise. I have bought 2 of these and can highly recommend.
Greetings from Germany, had to listen to the WERA Kraftform TURBO several times. Jokes aside, i really like the list with quite some affordable options
I am _fascinated_ by the fact that Quinn is so obsessed with vacuum cleaners. Well I don't know if obsessed is the right word, maybe he's more of a vacuum afficionado, a connoisseur even. Not that there's anything wrong with that, many of them have tons of interesting tech. It's just kind of unusual, more quirky than weird. You do you!
Your gift guide/cool gadget videos are honestly some of the best. All of the other ones are sponsored bs or just crappy tools they though together to make a video and get add revenue. Yours is stuff I actually kinda want to buy 😂 and I have! And I’ve always loved the products! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Fun fact: Both the Wera screwdriver and the Knipex pliers are from my hometown Wuppertal, which is basically the capital of tool making in Germany. Greetings from a German viewer!
Since the iPhone 15 Pro Max has USB-C, I’ve actually thought about connecting the Kwumsy Keyboard to it. I am mobile all the time as an Uber eats DoorDash GrubHub and Amazon Flex driver and sometimes sometimes it would just be really nice to have both extra screen space, and a keyboard to be able to communicate with customers on the road a lot easier than typing into the phone all day
it's funny to see him talk about the high price of stuff like the moft stand but not for the 200 external dac. the curse of knowing how audio prices get I suppose.
Am German. You're welcome. And regarding pepper mills I absolutely adore my cheap hand cranked coffee grinder. I grind a ton of spices for Indian food, bbq rubs and whatever else and it is a beautiful black anodized beast. The handle makes it extra easy to crank too. No more cramps trying to grip that slippery wooden mill that costs double the price and mills a fifth in the same time. Geez, that was a lot of emotional outbreak for a spice grinder. I need to lay down for a while.
I have the smaller version of the Unicorn pepper grinder (I think it's big enough) and it is truly a huge addition if you're a home cook. Cannot recommend enough.
The fan on the ISDT 200X power station is EXCEPTIONALLY loud. Their fan curve also makes no sense what so ever, it seems to be just on or off. And when it's on, it's audible above everything else in the room. There was clearly no thought put into the sound of this thing. AVOID.
I have had my Time Capsule collecting dust for years and have a Silicon M1 Mac Mini and other desktop Macs as well including my 2006 Mac Mini which I am playing Diablo 2 on. Thank you for showing how you can bring an old device back to life. I will buy the 2tb ssd and the flashlight when I have the money. Then I have to FIND the Time Capsule somewhere in my bedroom and I can use it to make the continually nagging backup requests that Apple is obsessed with. Have a great Thanksgiving and I love your videos and your beard is fine. I am 71 and have grown a beard but I break out in acne so I cannot have one for long.
This was an absolute pleasure to watch. Subscribed. Happy holidays to all. Love from Saudi Arabia. PS I bought the playdate and I hate myself because the price is outrageous but hey YOLO.
I have a S8 Pro Ultra and I love it, on a house with 2 cat's is great to keep everything neat and is a HUGE plus the smell of clean floors. Basic maintenance is easy, the app works really well. Can't complain. I've justified the price by thinking of how much it would cost to hire someone to do the job of cleaning the floors and it already paid it self.
“You can’t expect to tame a nine inch hog, the magnum sprays its love everywhere and you’d be lucky to own one” You thought you could just slide that whole perverted paragraph in there without anyone noticing. 🤣 🤣
The tiny pliers are a good idea but they just aren't tiny enough nor thin enough. Also need to have needle nose, 45, 90, 135, and 180 degree angle versions of them. I'm thinking of tiny tools for technology repair kits (e.g. iFixIt) where torque is NOT a critical component but you might also want to grip flat to the surface (hence the 135 and 180 options). Currently, tweezers are about the only tool available in tech repair kits and those are useless for gripping. Being able to firmly grip tiny bits to hold onto them but not necessarily apply a bunch of torque is a major missing component of tech repair kits. Tiny tech bits require tiny, thin tools.

Yeah, Knipex and Wera are both based in my home city Wuppertal. Wuppertal is actually - with Remscheid and Solingen as it's neighbours - a very important industry triangle. Many important automotive parts come from here too. Like the Veyron Engine for example. Bilstein(dampers like in the Dodge Ram TRX) ist actually also based right next to us in Ennepetal.

Great use for an old Time Capsule. Thanks for the tip! Making it wireless will actually get my wife's MacBook connected to Time Machine. Be careful though. I'm new to Apple and didn't realize and AirPort and Time Capsule were different things. I bought an Airport Extreme, but it is a version that Apple doesn't support using a shared USB drive as a Time Machine drive on. So, now I have an outdated router and no Time Machine backup. :( I'm wondering if getting an old Mac Mini and dropping a new SSD drive into it would be a better option. Support on these AirPort and Time Capsules seems like it could go away any moment since they stopped making them about 5 years ago.
I love the Playdate.
It lets me crank it wherever I am!
Yea!!!...... no wait
But with a PSP you can play nut outside...
Great for on the toilet..
I love playing with toys in the bathroom

Yep, but that is part of these guides - something not obvious.
