yesss this soundtrack in all its use of 80s pads and fun synthesiser sounds is really what sets it apart from other ghibli soundtracks, its so playful and emotive of the 80s. honestly ocean waves and Only yesterday are such nostalgic films for me, they are really my favourite from studio ghibli in my opinion. You should have a crack at Only Yesterdays soundtrack, it is soooo beautiful as well.
Songs and performances like this make me realise how much I'd like to play piano or at least make me realise how important of an instrument the piano is
Learning piano right now because of this movie’s soundtrack. I’m planning on continuing until grade 5 only tho. As long as i’m able to play pieces like from ocean waves (classical kinda)

It's a Yamaha YDP-323. It's very old now for an electric piano, about 13 years old I think. It has a very heavy action and I grew up playing on it so I didn't notice until recently. It has a great tone though. I want to save up for a Yamaha CLP-775 in the near future
