I like how much fun it looks like he’s having with Yoshimitsu. The risky moves that could cost him the match, or give him an epic victory that he takes is the true spirit of Yoshimitsu for me. I don’t know if he’s the best, but he’s my favorite now
he is the best by a pretty good margin, he even beat knees Yoshimitsu who's basics are very strong.
in S1 he had at least 2 or 3 ranks above every other yoshi.

it's great to see someone uses yoshis advanced movement in such way. yoshi is a character that really allowes the user to be creative. lacks in other departments tho.

Meh in what departments are you referring too hes fast agile and strong plus unpredictable the only reason many do not use him is cuz hes way too hard to play
@@user-rl6sk4fy1k his lows arent very good, pokes overall require a lot of conditioning to get the most out of them. Very linear character overall. Over reliance on flash gets you killed. But a solid player with good fundies and who isnt afraid to able be able to have so much fun. He is my favorite fighting game character of all time.
But as far as his strengths go Yoshi is at best upper middle tier.

yoshi is the most tricky character that I've ever played.
I just stopped using him because it's too much time to learn all of the stands and the combos
like when you want to do harakiri, you have to know that the enemies will dodge that, and you have to cancel the harakiri and do combos after that like 1:49
yoshi is not that really good at damage, but the combo was insane
sometimes you can't predict what move will he makes
so yeah, I really do respect for someone like eyemusician who can use yoshi potential to the max
Btw, I played king nowadays
Took me countless hours in training to get familiar with Yoshimitsu's kit. I practiced on every mode computer had so I could get familiar with the low, medium, and high attacks. Put computer on hardest mode once I have all the moves memorized then I played against my cousin a lot. He liked using King and Jin and they are a good counter to Yoshi. It's probably around 500 hours to memorize the kit, and 200 hours of combat to learn spacing and when to use certain moves. It's well worth it in the end. I used to play close to this level after playing Yoshimitsu for a few years.
This inspires me to play Tekken but then i realize i'm trash

Takes years to become this familiar with yoshi's kit. Once you have the combos down its all about movement at that point. Feints feel great also.

He didnt. Akuma hit his sword and took armor damage. Akumas rage are it a low attack. Can be jumped over .
