Frank & Sons is more like a toy show to me now. A place where you can see cool things pop culture related, sports memorabilia, video games, etc. You just might find a good deal along the way! As far as their pricing, expect to pay scalper’s prices, but like I said you find a good deal here and there. Their beverages are priced well. 😂 However, Franks has been a great place to unload stuff for me lately. And YES the parking is so much better than the old location!

Loooool one of the booths had signs up saying "please don't post any MOTU on social media"....i wonder why. Can't stand seeing shit in a resellers booth, marked up of course, when you can still find it on the shelves. I like how you kept it real with the pricing of things as well. Too many people justify crazy high prices.

Frank and sons is a good place if you know what the prices should be + necessary price adjustments. Otherwise, I feel that for most vendors they tend to be competitive or higher priced, so if I can find it online there's no reason to go there. It's a nice place to look around and enjoy looking at toys since there's no entrance fee. And that parking lot is empty compared to usual traffic.

Yes it's good place to go check out

Action figures are going to be harder to find in retail because everyone started the trend to not buy anything until it goes on clearance.

To be fair thats because a lot of prices have sky rocketed . For example I buy a lot less marvel legends or dc than I used to because the extra bucks add up that they added on. If theres something I feel is worth the price Ill get it, but its eliminated impulse or maybe buys totally.

@@jamespaul6315 Todd has been a pretty good job trying not to raise prices but it's getting harder for companies. He didn't go full hasbro or mattel thankfully

An now Target doesn't get more than 1 case anymore per store, at best (Wars, Transformers, Marvel Legends).
      > Blame Woke Disney! For overloading D+ & the _M-She-U_ w/ anti-white male content. Cause they need to relentlessly virtue signal liberal propaganda. Therefore the Disney Figures, *which Hasbro is under contract to make. And to make more of them- because they fall under promotional cinematic marketing w/ No kick-back royalty.* Ergo, those crap Disney figures _(Eternals, What If, Shang Chi, Thor movies, Ms. Marvel, Cpt Marvel, etc.)_ all get higher production & higher minumum order quantities. Thus overloading the store shelf space, w/ crap that even the kids know is garbage! Que the Ollies & Ross selections.
& MotU ORIGINS have always been hard to find, outside of the Walmart exclusive Wave 1 & the (late 2022) Stratos 2.0, Sorceress wave.. So,,,, take away Hot wheels, McFarlane stuff & Mattel WWE, and your left w/ completly blank Target boys' toys shelves (outside of the Newish cheap TMNT stuff & the 5 or 6 GI JOE's).

If you collect vintage action figures or vintage video games, you need deep pockets these days. Some vintage action figures are crazy expensive.

its definetly turned into more a tourist stop as it was from back in the days they do have high rent for the booths so that factors in i like to walk around and look but its rare that i shop there since 2020 or so like you said in this video support your local mom n pop shops and i bet you can find certain items at a greater discount

You go to book off a lot and they’re usually over priced IMO and they pay nothing for your stuff. If you like pops franks is pretty cheap for new stuff at Chalice. Neca is Cheap at Nora’s, Toy Arena has stuff at retail and there’s only a couple places you can get Storm Collectibles in person and they’re all at Franks.

28:47 I've been meaning to go to Frank N Sons, besides that SDCC exclusive they do sometimes have some Kenner figures over there. However the only thing stopping me is the overpriced items. That and the drive over there.

I think you could’ve gotten that Freddy for 50$ if you had the cash and was more assertive on that price some vendors are willing to work with you but if you give up to easy they tend not to go lower ! When I negotiate I check A few time on how long it sits there then be aggressive with them most of the time tends to go my way ! She’s not gonna sell that Freddy for 80$ let’s be real !

Great video. I've never been there before. And I want to go comic hunting for marvel silver age comics. Do they have good deals for mild and major key issues? I know they have 50 cent/$1 bins which are cool. But it seems most don't look like in the best condition and don't have bags and boards?. I hope I could find some good ones of those too.

What Target did you get the Ken. There's some figures that I saw that has it there. I'm from So Cal also. Address would help for that Target. 😁

Dude, I've been watching you for awhile and you are from my era when all this vintage stuff was new. It seems like you continue to find more stuff to want from games to cards to laser discs. Have to ask where do you put it all? I know you go on binges where you want retro animated stuff on card from Batman to X-Men. Does it just go in crates? I display new retro carded stuff and know how much room it takes up. If you devoted areas of your house to it, it would look awesome.
I still have a ton of those 90s Marvel cards. They were pricey back then so seeing those prices makes me wonder if they have become more in demand. I also have that SDCC T Rex you saw in that booth in the box. She should have shown you how the package lights up.
Would love to go to Frank & Sons but not to buy. They have that awesome 1/6 booth with everything out in cases. You can find pretty much anything there. It's just one huge overpriced collectible warehouse. I bet those booths cost a lot.

Jesus Christ... 40$ for the set of 4, for those cheap ass Power Rangers lego knock-offs is insane. They are peg warmers at Ollie's and 5 below. The only rare one is, unfortunately, the green ranger. The others are easy to find. Generally, they run for 3$...
