I actually have this monitor and wound up getting a replacement because of the ghosting. It's not as bad on the new one, but I have found that Freesync makes it worse, and using the PC 1920x1080 at 100Hz refresh rate works well to reduce the ghosting to an acceptable level. When I set it to 120Hz the colors seemed to feel off for some reason.
@@cannedbeanz I wound up reverting to my old 60htz monitor due to the ghosting issues that continued with the replacement monitor. So, I would say it's not.
Hi I recently purchased the same one, and I was wondering if you remeber it coming with a display port because the manual shows one but i don't remeber seeing one, hopefully i didn't loose it. thanks!
if you compare it with 75hz, of course i prefer phillips 242e1gsj, but if you dont really neeed that gaming 144heartz and prefer more into colors and design go for aoc 75hz
@@GoonRides I think it's a good gaming monitor for $116, but if you want to spend $50 more for something better then that's up to you. In the end it's how much you are willing to spend for your gaming experience.
i want to buy a non gaming monitor for less than 200 dollars with high contrast and good color coverage . do you you have any monitor in mind ? please help ! i am lost
So for a ps4 player that is going to get the ps5 next year I should just get the 75 hertz monitor sell it next year and upgrade to this next year? It’s about a 15 dollar difference but the 75hz has a 4 ms response but seems to be better built
I am assuming you are referring to the 246E9QDSB monitor, that one is a IPS panel so it will get better picture quality versus this is a VA panel, which is a balance of picture quality and refresh rate. Keep in mind this 144hz monitor is a 4ms GTG. It's really down to refresh rate vs picture quality if you are going to pick between the two.
First the game has to support 144hz. For the PS5 settings/cog wheel icon>>game/app settings>>game preset>>performance mode. XBox series s/x Profile & System >> Settings>> General >> TV & Display Options
thanks for this man
welcome, thanks for watching

Is there any yellowing? If so, how did you remove the yellowing? I saw a little bit of yellow when you were showing the fonts
Yes there is yellowing, I turned it down to 120hz to reduce the yellowing.

A good IPS office monitor would works like a LG 27MK430H-B or Dell P2419H. There are a lot of choice out there.
