It is restricted very much that the present motorbike has very high performance and I should act as a rider for considering. Therefore, that the present top rider can do it can only perform leaning the body even to a limit. By old motorbike, if a rider did not hold down, since it was the developing motorbike performance which breaks down a posture immediately, there always had to be a rider in the center of a machine. Therefore, the present race is not interesting.
このレースからシュワンツの伝説が始まったんだよね。
僕はいけなかったけど、父親がこのレースを現地で見て居て、大興奮して話してたのを覚えてる。
当時のスズキのマシンは直線が目に見えて遅くて、シュワンツがガードナーに負けて無かったのは。
常に全開に近いアクセル開度だった事が原因らしい。
