This movie is based on a classic novel of Thailand, wriiten by Tommayati...the story is about a true love between Japanese soldier and Thai woman which was token place in WWII amongs the conflict between two countries. And yes...we never have been colonized by any country in the world....Japan invaded Thailand in WWII, they never rule us as a colony . It is different between colonize and occupy....and we never said by ourselves and flatter ourselves...the history books of this world say it too.
