Hey Kwan, Hope this message finds you well! I recently landed in Manitoba as a PR, eager to kickstart my mining career here in Canada. I've noticed that local companies prefer candidates with recommendations from Canadian connections, and tailoring resumes to match specific roles is a bit of an art. I heard you might offer tutoring classes on navigating the Canadian job market, particularly in mining engineering. If so, I'd love to schedule a short call with you to get some guidance. Your insights would be invaluable as I embark on this exciting journey. Looking forward to connecting with you soon! Cheers, Baur
Im planning to move in Alberta as a permanant resident, im already a mining engineer with 5 years experience i have a master degree but i want to do like 2 mores years of stuying in canada, Can you please give me some advice?
so my question is why you want to pursue 2 more years of study in Canada? If you want to pursue academic / R&D, then you can consider a masters in mining engineering if you don't have one already, or a PhD. Otherwise, at your level of experience and education, i would recommend that you just try and get into the workforce. Work experience matters the most when landing a job
Thanks Kwan
