I remember them setting up an after school staff Christmas party with a bunch of cookies & stuff right in front of us while we were studying for finals (we were in the library cuz our teacher had to help set it up.) I got really jealous-

Ok so the principle got on the announcements and was like “you kids have improved on your test scores (like the ones everyone is forced to take at the beginning, middle, and end of the year) so much and we are so proud of you!” Then he proceeded to tell us that the teachers lounge had cake. Even our teacher thought that was completely stupid and unfair. They ended up giving the students free ice cream at lunch after like 2 days though. Still, they were originally going to congratulate us on getting good scores just to only reward the teachers.
My last day was Friday and my last period teacher literally had cookies and plates and stuff for a staff party lol, she just told us what they were for tho bc why would that need to be a secret
