What I should have added. Do you need to be a Freemason to DJ at these festivals such as Luminosity? There are so many good trance DJ´s out there who are just simply ignored no wonder the trance genre is dead. Absolutely no trance in Ibiza. Holland or Belgium has no trance club (considering Holland/Belgium are one of the homes of trance along with the UK/Germany)
Plenty of not so well known djs get to play at luminosity, unfortunately those names don't sell tickets. The trance science in the UK is great. You've got trance sanctuary, trance fest, trance in the woods colourfest and rong indoor festival which has an insane lineup. The scene in my hometown belfast has never beeb better with the like of trance family NI and notorious parties organising events regularly. The likes of planet love festival, Belfast goes large, a lot of open to close sets,, and regularly club nights giving lesser known djs a chance. I've seen you commenting on videos regularly,.always negative but I can assure you the trance scene in the UK and Ireland is great.

Trouble is now days across all house genres you have labels hiring models as DJ´s to bash out the tunes or these producers just come to a festival & play their own stuff. IMO, a DJ should be forward looking playing tracks that haven´t been released. Luminosity you have them into progressive house. Much of the stuff being played at places such as Luminosity appals me Yes, Ireland does appear to have quite a few of these trance DJ´s. I was disappointed with O´Callaghan/Kearney. If that was me I would never allow the tempo to drop. The more darker stuff as well. If I was a DJ, I would drop in a track such as Jason Cortez, "shinning in the ecstasy" . I´m a big fan of some of the independents such as DJ Kuno/trance panther (I´ve got suspicions that this guy is a U.S producer)/Sentien. Trance is all about taken the listener to the highest high/paradise
Is now the time to take trance underground once again? Get it more rave sounding, bring in some techno. If the techno DJ´s can drop a trance tune into their sets why cannot trance DJ´s? Get away from the trash pushed out by many of the top named trance DJ´s. There is some decent stuff being pumped out in the trance genere by the independents but you never get to hear it. It´s only for the independent trance DJ´s such as Kuno, that give me faith that trance has a future.
Hope you don't think Ben Gold is "underground" - alot of the tracks i hear here is mainstream nonsense. I nearly hit the thumbs down. disgusted...alongside Armin... their days are somehow gone. But Kuno is a good one, just not a producer and artist/DJ like Ben Gold etc are. Online DJ only somehow

Dicho lo cual, el Set es impresionante, los temas o tracks buenos… PERO, el dj. es muy malo: parece un simple bailarín. No trabaja como debería: no ecualiza, no reverbera, no realiza scratching, no mete efectos de sonido, ni ecos, ni sirenas… No mezcla uniendo dos o más temas al mismo tiempo, ni los intercambia (no sabe usar el fader)… No improvisa, acorde a la multitud…sus bajos son poco contundentes…🤦♂️ Pensando mal, pareciera que le da al botón de “sincro” de la mesa de mezclas, que lo hace todo automático… Vamos, para eso, que ponga un pendrive con una recopilación de temas y nos ahorramos el gasto!! Ser Dj, no es ser un showman!
Puedes decir lo que quieras, pero el no solo es DJ, y las producciones que el tiene son demasiado buenas para el promedio de artistas. No por nada su Rest Of our lives se llevó el 2do puesto en el ASOT year 2022. La música es para disfrutar, las críticas déjalas para un foro.

Trance does have a future. Very popular in Belfast where I'm from. Been to loads of raves recently. A lot of old school gigs too.
