12.40 that's a transformer module and are situated behind ports etc. My yard won't evenbtake flyback transformers, I don't bother to take them off either but I've never seen one with a nice bit of copper down the outside, yummy! Whewwww mannn am I glad I decided to watch this! I’ve watched other videos on boards and for some odd reason..almost none of this was covered, definitely not to this extent!
I cleaned 3 boxes of circuit boards out of an abandoned apartment in which the tenant had been evicted back when I worked as a property manager, took them with me when the property was sold years later (though they looked like total junk..in boxes labeled “JUNK” lol). Since then they’ve been out in my shed. I just pulled them out recently and was about to pull the aluminum/visible copper off for my scrap stash and toss the rest 🥲. I also wanted to say that I check the transformers to see if the copper content is worth removing or not since I am fortunate to live about 4 hours away from Boardsort drop off location, it's quite an upgrade in price from transformer(.10 cent my yard) to low grade(.40 Boardsort).
