Great 50s hits, but I can't help but think a New Jack Swing group like NE wanted nothing to do with putting out an album of standards from 30 years prior... maybe that's why Bobby Brown left the group
Right. Heart Break was semi new jack swing and I loved it. They remixed a lot of the singles from that album to fit the more hip hop side of where new jack swing was going.
@@angelagreen5654 I guess I should have said that New Jack was the kind of direction they desired to go in, even though it didn't yet exist... I was an NE fan from their "New Jackson 5" days when the only place I could buy their records was Radio Doctors in downtown Milwaukee... but even from those days you could tell they wanted more than just bubblegum
Musical melodies like this ❤very well deserved a Bravo. Wish all musicians would sing like this again❤
New Edition nailed it the whole album of the 50s 60s

They were heavily in debt with MCA when they signed another bogus contract. They did blue moon because of it.
NE was hardly a new jack swing group. Incorporated the sound as the group was still relevant during that time period.

Bobby left the group during the recording of All 4 Love, when this album was recorded he had been gone and they had done a tour without him.
