  • "Speaking for Myself" is a Truth and Reconciliation Platform educational project, broadcast from The Miami Showband Peace Centre Online.
    The Witnesses for this event are Julie Hambleton whose sister, Maxine, was murdered in The Birmingham Bombings of November 21st 1974, and Liam Cairns whose two brothers, Gerard and Rory, were murdered in Bleary (near Lurgan) on October 28th, 1993.
    Event Panellists are New York based, Jo Dover, and U.K. based, Dr. Maggie Scull.
    This event is chaired by The Miami Showband Massacre survivor, Stephen Travers, who is also Chairman and co-founder of Truth and Reconciliation Platform.
    The executive SfM series producer is Eugene Reavey who is also Treasurer and co-founder of Truth and Reconciliation Platform.
    ‘Speaking for Myself’ and ‘Music - A Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ are Truth and Reconciliation Platform educational projects, hosted by The Miami Showband Peace Centre Online and assisted by the consultant and coach, Tracy Dempsey.
