I have two of Damien's books, I really love some of the practices. A great book that puts Qaballah in a nutshell, is " Chiken Qaballah", by Lon Milo Duquette, and it's in a funny format! He is brilliant and uses humor to teach as many Qaballah concepts as possible in a relatively short book. This book, will take anyone very far quickly and you'll get there with a dose of laughter!
Excited to read both books. I just signed them both out from my library, so excited they had them! Because I read A LOT! I had gotten into the habit of purchasing so many books that would just sit there and never get read, so now I get into the habit of seeing if my library has them first, and if I KNOW I want to read the book over and over again then I purchase it. Fellow Echols fan - just wanted to let you know that the sigils in the book are generated using the traditional Rose Cross Sigil Generator from the Order of the Golden Dawn (which is what most of his system is based off as well). I love this book!!!!! If they opened a school I would be there!!!! I believe he explained his sigils in his 1st book high magik. I thinkni went through that book too fast... I need to re-read it.
You can choose any name that feels right for you. You can be a witch, a warlock, a sorcerer, a magician. It all comes down to your preference and comfort

Warlock refers too an oath breaker. Though this is often equated with breaking ones oath with god i.e leaving church dogma.
