Tower of Spidey was probably inspired by the scene in Homecoming, where Spiderman saves a falling elevator. Looking forward to it! Spidey Coaster also sounds intriguing. I wonder if it will have inversions?

Shanghai certainly got the better announcement. This HKDL Spider Man drop tower is not a great thing fir the park at all. The Arc Reactor tower they have at Stark Expo already is the wrong scale, too small. This new skyscraper tower will be a blight across the gorgeous park. The original concept announced many years ago was a million times better than this drop tower knock off. Eugh. Very disappointed in what was announced for HKDL Avengers expansion.
But I mean it could be a new ride system to compete with universal new Harry Potter ride which is also an elevator type ride and it will also be the latest drop tower that Disney will build
Right now Universal has a weird licensing deal regarding Marvel characters east of the Mississippi River, but if they’re desperate for money, they’ll probably cave at some point. Hindering Disney’s growth potential doesn’t make nearly as much money as they think it does.

Plus it would make it an ultimate Disney vacation, with attractions based on their animated properties, Pixar, Star Wars, Muppets, Indiana Jones, and Marvel in the same park or rather resort, it would be a dream come true. Plus with now Guardians in Disney World, there's an Avengers side hole that is needs to be filled.

Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the most beautiful, if not, THE most beautiful of the Disney Parks, thanks to volcanic mountains that surround it. Building ANY “Tower” will destroy the sightlines. Living in Singapore, since HKDL’s opening and an AP Holder, I consider this my “home” Park as it’s a close to Singapore as Boston is to Orlando, when I was growing up. Honestly, the addition of Marvel into ANY Castle Park is simply lazy, on The Walt Disney Company’s part, as the theming is basically, current, read-world environments. Universal’s IOA, made their Marvel Island, in Orlando, like one big comic book, to solve this issue. While not great, they tried. More than I can say for Stark Expo or the two other, mundane Avenger Campuses found in Paris and Anaheim. Hong Kong was promised Shanghai’s Pirates at one point in time and I’d much rather see money spent on something more epic, like that, but they’ve already developed that side of the Park with 2 of 3 great lands / attractions. So, what can be done with one of the worst Tomorrowlands? Stark Expo is boring in contrast to Star Tours and doesn’t even feature Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man. While Antman & The Wasp (which replaced the ever-entertaining and fun, Buzz Lightyear) is even worse. Tripling down, by replacing the planned Avengers E-Ticket for a D-Ticket Spidy TOT (sadly, they can’t even make the “Tower” resemble The Daily Planet, due to its location and skyline issue) which will likely result, IMO, in another Fail. Why not build Pandora in that “Spidy” space? Space Mountain, other than during Halloween, when it is Ghost Galaxy, is forever, Hyperspace Mountain. Why not do a mash-up of Star Wars, Avatar, Marvel and… if they are smart, reskin (again) Antman (Buzz) into Incredibles and then take the Astro Orbiter and make it Muppets in Space. At least, this type of ‘themed-mash-up” would seem planned and not done on an accidental budget, instead of seeming so second fiddle. Just my two cents!

Hopefully the Spider Man Roller Coaster Replaces Avengers Asssemble: Flight Force which is one of the worst rides I’ve seen, and Avengers Infinity Defense replaces Web Stinkers which is the Anti Amazing Adventures of Spider Man!

I bet Guardians Mission Breakout will replace Tower of Terror in Florida…unless Agatha Harkness’s show does well enough that she just takes it over. Either way, knowing Marvel characters are coming to more Disney parks means the Marvel rights in Florida expiring are simply a matter of time.
I doubt it. Guardians have a coaster at epcot. I think the original tower of terror is safe. The tower of terror rides are highly successful in both Florida and Paris. Always attracts crowds. Always immersing people in an iconic atmosphere and making smiles and laughter when they get off. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Plus both resorts will need attention elsewhere, adding more to the lineup.
I don't think it will. The Orlando version is too iconic. Especially with the tower now being the "icon" of Hollywood Studios instead of the water tower
I’d love that. I could eventually see them expanding AC with a new attraction at the Stunt Arena location, but that’s still far into the future as adding more lands around the lake should be their priority

Due to Tomorrowlan'd's location on the right side of the park, I don't think Tower of Spidey will look too bad sightline wise.

There’s no Tower of Terror in HK, it would be a completely new ride with a new theme, it wouldn’t affect other ToTs around the world
