That was really lovely to see such views. Really appreciate the series in this island. Thank ever so much for your efforts, you do a wonderful job and keep it so interesting.
This tiny island nation is like nothing else❣️ It inspiring me to imagine what was like few centuries ago into the past, the emblematic people either public or anonymous, the celebrations, the characters, the events, bar, restaurants, Bohemia, the music and so on 🤯
Hi yes. I have been to mdina. And when I am there it reminds me of like you are in Bethlehem or Israel or Jerusalem. Its buildings I love. I love all of Malta. I would live there myself as I love it. It is so peaceful and people are lovely. The history of Malta also is great. They got bombed by so many countries during the second world war and nearly all Malta was lost. England helped them to fight of their enemies. So Malta was England's for a long time. But we gave Malta back to them. This why the Maltese love us English. Because we helped them during the war. Beautiful country.
@@GimbalWalkTV yes I want to go back. Hubby not too sure as he says it is quite busy but we don't sit in the beach all day we explore about so to me that doesn't bother me. The buses do get busy tho but it cheaper to use the public transport when there. I like marsalok. I liked it there. I not sure if we have even been to the east or west of Malta or the north as we tend to stay at St Paul's bay and travel about from there. Where do u recommend us staying in Malta to see other areas we not been to yet
@@GimbalWalkTV I'd love to stay in Valetta itself since I like to explore rather than lie on a beach, but Sliema has frequent bus service into Valetta--and from the bus "station" just outside the old city one can catch buses all over the island. I took buses to Mdina and some of the ancient megalithic monuments. Cheap and easy way to explore the main island.
What a beautiful video--thank you so much. I had a short day trip to Mdina when I visited Malta about 25 years ago, and it was on an overcast day in early February. Even then it was beautiful, but it is glorious in the sunshine! But where are the cats? I remember them in very late afternoon hanging around, waiting for the kind souls who feed them. Do they hide in the midday, or have some nice sunny place to hang out? I loved all the Maltese cats!

The thing that stood out most to me when we were there in January 2020 was the British Post Boxes and traditional phone boxes!

@@lionofjudah4114 Definitely Sliema! Right opposite Valletta and you can catch ferries around the island from there too
