I'm so glad you're enjoying The Doors. I haven't heard this song in probably 30 years. I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday but I was singing right along with Jim. People Are Strange is just over 2 minutes long but it's worth a listen.
The Doors were all of mysterious. Dark, deep, moody music. People Are Strange, as noted below, is a great song to check out. Crystal Ship, The End, Moonlight Drive (my favorite), all worth a hearing. Just to name a few.
This band altogether were pretty incredible. Many of their productions/creations were certainly theirs for the keeping. Distinct & reckless & very talented, genius actually.
I'm slightly surprised, but very pleased to see requests for 'WASP(Texas Radio and the Big Beat)', and 'The Crystal Ship'. Also love 'Alabama Song', 'Break On Through', 'Touch Me', '20th Century Fox', and anything else people want to hear. It'll be great!!😊🤙🏼🎶❤️✨️🕊
Great song and another flavor of this band :) I would suggest the song " the crystal ship " they have a video of them on a regular day lol very real 60s vibe , But the song is great for morrisons voice talent and lyrics .
Another Great song from this Incredible band Used to play this a lot before hitting the Town on Friday night Maybe will the help of a few chemicals!!!...
I love the Doors. Just as a reminder, you wanted to do the other 3 Led Zeppelin videos from 1969 Danmark Studios. I can give you the links if you want. Please review these. It’s been a year since you have done LZ. Thank you so much!
Mystery is a good word for much of their work, also frequently a sinister mood. Morrison was dark … proto-punk. The Oliver Stone movie is actually really good.
53 years. Holy crap. I wish it was Morrison that the conspiracy types claimed was still alive instead of JFK Jr. That would be more interesting. ••• Thanks! PEACES!!!
You ain't heard nothing yet Salvo, you are just getting started into Jim Morrison and the doors "Magic"..there is much much more to hear. I like the really unique doors songs, that most youtuber rarely react to, like "Not to touch the earth", "The Soft Parade", "Five to one", Texas radio and the big beat"..
I believe this is one of the last songs Morrison recorded with band. He was going to Paris to continue his poetry career. He went with his muse, Pam. He also died there, where Pam found him in the bathtub.
The band was always good, but Jim's live performances often were not due to his substance abuse issues. With The Doors, you're usually better off with the studio version, definitely true in this case.
Incredible talent but Morrison was drunk and out of control on stage , most of the time ! His whiskey and drug habit got the best of him and the band would have continued if he would have survived his little vacation in France where he got ahold of an overdose of his girlfriends big H....that unfortunately ...did him in. But Morrison and the Doors have a huge legacy indeed..

Oh yeah, People Are Strange is incredible. Not to be missed!
@@ohfour-seven6228, I agree! People are Strange is my favorite Doors tune.
Let's hope he gives it a listen@@rebeccalipps23
The Doors performed this song when I saw them at the Whiskey Go Go in LA back then. 😊

Saw the Doors in 1968 in Frankfurt Germany, opening act was Canned Heat!
Really need to do the studio version of ROADHOUSE BLUES !!
Yes for sure. ❤the original bass player recording for that song❤

If you want more live performances by The Doors, I recommend When The Music's Over Europe '68!

Back then everyone listened to AM radio, and AM would not play a song like this. You had to go to the laid back FM dial.
Five to one
Do it Robbie do it
‘The Changeling’ off LA Woman is superb
Unico fantastico man
This is my favorite doors song EVER
La Woman is a must do.

No, Morrison's last recordings with the band were the sessions for L.A. Woman in 1971, which they were mixing when he moved to Paris.
The last song he recorded was Riders on the sorm.
How about some Dropkick Murphys "Going Out in Style"? Nope they are nothing like The Doors.
Would like to know whose channel got deleted. Have you recommended them in the past?
Probably one of the songs by em i didnt care for, still its the DOORS.
What youtuber's channel was deleted?
It’s not a real Door’s concert without violence and/or nudity….
