Thank you very much. You have answerd on all my questions. I have the plant for the first Time. Special Plant. Green and White. Greeting from the Netherlands. Tineke
Thanks for mentioning about the nature of new leaves forming and the rust colour appearance is normal ...I'm at peace now 😅 I thought I had a problem...thank goodness
Hi I'm in the UK and I''ve just bought and planted a small Spiders Web in my garden and i love it. Thanks for the video it is really useful and you are great at explaining everything clearly and concisely. Can't wait to see mine grow and hopefully it will survive the winter months. Fingers crossed.
I have three 'spiders web' outside here in Florida usda zone 10. They seem to really love the very deep "excessively drained" soil in my yard. I've been experimenting with light exposure. It seems they need a good amount of direct sun to have high variegation. My first one I planted in the shade of a palm and it mostly stopped producing variegation. I'm thinking once it gets tall enough to reach direct sun it will variegate again.
Was given to me by a neighbor as an indoor plant. Probably a trend. And it just doesn’t do well. It’s drooping a ton. I think I’m need to take it outside.
Hey Ingrid! Yes, much much better outside! I see them kind of like Begonias and Azaleas in that respect. They just cant handle the lack of humidity and light associated with most homes.
Hi Max just seen your great video I to have one like yours but not as nice . Hope you can help me to get mine looking good, mine is in the UK but it leaves keep turning yellow then dropping off. I have to admit I didn’t know I had to feed it so regularly maybe that’s the problem , it is in a container 14in high in a shady spot because I thought they don’t like sun .It doesn’t seem to be putting any height on either, please can you help.
I'm in South Carolina. They get huge and can take our high heat, possibly because it's so humid when it's hot. I want to propagate the large ones that I've had for thirty years, because they are so expensive now. What should I do after they root, please? Thank you so much.
I have an aralia behind my pool and I think it's still the same size as when I first planted it and has never bloomed. it's pretty shady back there, gets a little dappled sun. I'm going to try to fertilize it weekly to see if it puts on some growth.
Theyre really weird that way, they either take off or take a year or two to setting in. I think that's a recipe for good growth! It honestly takes them a long time to get to a size where they bloom, a good general rule of thumb is to wait until the plant is 3 feet tall in a container, 4 feet tall directly in the ground to start to see blooms. Good luck eh!! Hope it works out well:))
Oh noo😟 maybe it's too dry where you have it? Dropping usually means lack of moisture or too much cold, but being indoors in AZ, I doubt cold is the issue🤔 did you check the roots for rot? If you feel a root and the "skin" of the root slides off of the central part of the root, the plant likely has a rotting root system:/ best of luck eh
Oooh I love Louisiana! Great state :) I know Logee's (an online store based in the US) sells them for $19.95 USD, and I'm pretty sure they ship to LO, but as for big box stores, I know they carry them at Home depot on occasion in Canada, so I would assume they might have them at Home depot in the US, maybe even Facebook Marketplace
Thank you. Your talk was very helpful and informative. I wish more presenters behaved in the same restrained manner.

Can you prune the fatsia into a tree in a pot?
Hi, yes you absolutely can, they make pretty good standard trees as well!

I just bought one and planted on a vase. How deep the vase should be?
