- A 15-hour travel day took me to Cholula, Puebla (one of Mexico's "magic towns") for a creator's meetup it turned out WAY different than I expected.

Recently, I was invited to an exclusive creator's meetup in Cholula, Puebla. This brought RUclipsrs, Instagrammers, and TikTokers from ALL over the world. I've never had such a cool opportunity to meet bright-minded creators so of course I had to plan the trip!
The first day, everyone met up in this Pueblo Mágico to explore what Cholula has to offer, including the world's largest pyramid, a field of marigolds, and the local mercado (market). After a bite to eat, we got a private, rooftop mezcal tasting. And finally, the day ended with an incredible group dinner which included a traditional Aztec ceremony and lots of shenanigans surrounding a piñata!!

I don't think so. I wish she changed her RUclips banner which says "Former partner of Tangerine Travels" why would she still carry that around with her? That is in the past already. If she sees that banner everytime she goes on her youtube she is not helping herself heal. I love Maddie's content, I just wish she realized she will find herself in a much better place emotionally once she fully lets go of things that link/remind her of the past.

These are simply your assumptions. I'm in the best place emotionally that I've been in YEARS. Also, there's nothing wrong with holding onto something from my past I'm incredibly proud of. I helped grow a successful RUclips channel to 250,000 subscribers and sold the business just a month after I turned 30. That's an amazing accomplishment.

It was fascinating how similar that Aztec presentation was to Native-American drum circles and ceremonial dances here in USA.The chanting, the dancing,the drums, ancient traditions of indigenous Mesoamerica and South Americans as it was before Europeans arrived!

The thing about Ajijic is it's a good "home base". You always know what the weather's going to be like. Why not just keep renting for a year or two? If you buy a house you can probably rent it to snowbirds while you travel in the winter when it's not too hot/humid.

I used to ride all around México in chicken buses back in the day lol. They came on board in sacks held by there owners. Sometimes they would be put in the overhead shelf.. and one morning at 5am a freakin rooster started crowing to announce the break of dawn 😂.

Realalma That is the beauty of Mexico. A natural country and without makeup. While people go to Disney to look at fantasy worlds. Mexico has the incredible reality that seems like a fantasy. But something needs to be clarified. These buses are only for popular use with continuous stops. There are direct and very modern buses, just like a plane.
@@dorianbelen yes i know 😊… llevo 30 años viviendo en mi querido México y en aquellos tiempos casi no había autobús de lujo como hoy. Si había transporte aéreo pero no como hoy. Era como regresar a los tiempos mas sencillos….y la gente.. ni hablar. Un día mi equipaje cayó del autobús sin que yo lo notara. un señor maya de un pueblito en Chiapas estaba corriendo al lado de mi con el. El chauffeur paro y recogido mi equipaje (en que tenia todo mis pertenencias!) ahora vivo en CDMX por mi trabajo pero cada vez que pueda voy al campo a disfrutar el ambiente.

Something similar happened to me but traveling from Monterrey to La Huasteca Potosina. I missed a tour bus I was supposed to get on 6 hours later. So, at 7:00 a.m. I had to take another bus in San Luis and it was making stops everywhere. I was a bit afraid of not reaching my destination before it got dark. But I arrived at 4:00 p.m. and was able to locate the cabins that were reserved as part of the tour. Anyway, that’s part of life, we sometimes get surprises along the way.
