the curuption on b2 is if he gets a auto attack off on you same as the layerd wound he puts on tank if you block parry or evade his auto attacks it dosnt get applyed thats how sometimes its instant other times you get crazy far into the fight
I'm not sure it's tied directly to an auto-attack. I think it's a particular skill that he uses, but yes, it's linked to the wound application. The only reason I think that is that I've been hit by auto attacks at the start of the fight with no corruption application, and have seen the same while another tank is kiting or otherwise.
Thanks for the vid, also I can’t help but notice: is that the Wyrmscale Bladesmaster Cloak from Draigoch dyed sunset orange? I only ask as it’s the same cosmetic I use, and haven’t seen anyone else use that dye on that cloak!
Hey Vuldyn, ty for the guide, it'll help a lot. A question about the rats add. After cleaning the boss corruptions, the adds will disappear or just dont spawn anymore?
No problem, glad you liked it! The corruptions just reduce incoming dmg to the boss, so once you remove them you can burn the boss down quickly. Once the boss dies, the adds will despawn but until then they will keep spawning and acting normally.
Redline captain has received some very large personal dps buffs in their recent overhaul so they should be much more pleasant to play solo. In general, every dps class has gone up quite a bit in DPS, and both captain and warden tanks are buffed as well. Healers are quite a bit more powerful except for minstrel which is around the same level as pre u35.
Boss 1 first wave (slugs, flies) cause us probs. The slugs seem to make huge damage. Any explanation here about the mechanic and how to deal with the incoming damage?
The flies will be your biggest problem, not the slugs. Best way it have your support CC both flies while you kill the rest of the mobs. If you accidentally wake one up, then just focus it down
@@vuldyn_ agreed, the flies a prio due to their ugly fields. But as soon as the slugs/flies appear we receive a huge damage spike which usualy one shot one of us and we dont understand whats going on.
@@vuldyn_ oh, ok. Thats interesting. With CC you mean stun or mezz, right? Like the tools from the Loremaster or the 3s stun of the champ? How can we identify a non-interuptable induction?
@@juanzulu1318 yep, any ‘hard’ cc that a mob is not immune to will interrupt an otherwise uninterruptible induction. Fears, daze, stun, knockdown, or Fellowship Manoeuvre. All classes should have access to some form of hard CC, but support tends to be the best at it. For example, this one is best solved by LM bane-flare, since it’s a fast AoE Daze that lasts quite a while. If you have the option turned on to show enemy inductions, you’ll be able to see an uninterruptible induction because it will be a grey bar filling up, as opposed to a normal yellow one. We often call them ‘grey bar inductions’ for this reason.
Unfortunately the fight is not very consistent. There are times when the corruptions do not get applied, and other times that tiny vermin do not spawn. Most often I have seen 1 or 2 waves, but sometimes we get more, and sometimes none at all. This run was one of the first we ever did and it so happened that none spawned that run. Dealing with them is not too difficult though, just try to have AoE CC ready for them. Champions, Hunters, Guardians, LMs, Burgs, etc all have great tools to deal with them.

@@vuldyn_ ah cool! You have good taste sir! One of my favourite cloak cosmetics!

How are the class changes? Especially for captain, mines been a crafting alt for ages due to crappy dps even in redline and a pain to level.

what plugin is that that tells you that the tail whip comes
I don't believe I had a plugin telling me about Tail Whip, just the in game UI

Does starting in the middle-ish also apply to tier 2 ?
I am assuming you are talking about boss 2? If so you should check out my newer video for t5 of that boss, the strat will work on any tier.
But where do you have the small rats that spawn so often?

@@vuldyn_ Alright, thanks
This fight is so difficult to pub. Still can't beat it.
@@majorsparkles5133 It is tough, but hopefully people will begin to learn the strats that work well.
Why did infection do so little DMG? We got over 1 mio hits.
We were using champ taunt to reduce the damage of the skill. I believe raven distract also works well.
