Man, your vid is amazing! I always bought the entire wiper to replace the old one, never knew we can just buy the wiper blades and change it as simple as you showed here. Thank you!!
Thank you for showing us while the blade was still on car! From watching other videos removing the blade, I was beginning to think it’s too complicated for such a simple switch. This is by far, was the most helpful video. Thank you 🙏
You're very welcome, happy I could help. Yes I figured it may be helpful to include both ways as easy as they are. Thank you for your kind words as well 🙌👍
Thanks! I couldn't figure out how to get those end caps off - thanks to you I now know that there's no need to get them off (and probably no way to do it without breaking something)
This is not the same as my 2014 accord coupe. The way the rubber insert locks in is totally different. I dropped a like to support you, just wanted to pass along that info. Mine are the originals that came on it new too
@@JonnyDIY of course! You were straight to the point and very clear instructions with a good video. I see now that 2014 just slides out and has metal inserts. I was afraid to break it by forcing it but it’s not hard at all. Just push opposite of the arrow. The arrow is for installing the new ones so removal is opposite
There is a metal strip that is on both side of rubber. When you remove the old rubber, you’re suppose to take out the metal strip and insert it in the new rubber insert before putting it on the blade
@@ez12like my comment applies if you are not changing the whole wiper blade. If you just want to replace the rubber insert. The rubber inserts are flimsy cuz they are made of rubber, so the inserts have a place on each side of rubber where there’s a metal strip so it holds the shape and strength

@2:25 i noticed on these new rubber blades, there's this coating that rubs off onto your fingers, whats the coating for?
I think it's like graphite material or something to help them glide smoother across the glass
Thank you for posting the video.
You're welcome happy I could help you out 👍

Did you mention replacing the metal part from the old to new wipers?
No metal parts changed when swapping new wiper inserts in 👍

Why my blade noise even they do not show any sign of wear tier?
They do that when rubber gets older and dry. Clean them well with some wd-40, should help the noise 👍

Not how I change them, I just slip the new ones into the metal groove at the ends 👍
@@JonnyDIY I gotcha but it’s wrong. If you just keep the rubber part without the metal
Strip, its gonna be flimsy
You are confusing me

Would you like to test pressure washer?😁
Leaving the metal wiper arm unattended can easily drop down and break your windshield so easily that i got nervous just watching 😬
Never thought of that, good point 👍
@@JonnyDIY Good video and info nonetheless 👌
