i remember when you would walk into paddington and your feet would be rumbling with all the diesel trains, i've never heard paddington to quiet, how times have changed :(
When you go to the end of the year you get the London stations love that very much. Great video again and thanks for your answers and heart♥♥♥Have a great weekend x Debby
26:24 The passengers had been spread evenly along the length of the train but the driver braked harshly passing Ladbroke Grove and they all ended up in the front two coaches LOL
Indeed. As was the situation with the Selby crash of 28th Feb 2001 coming so soon after the Hatfield crash of 17th Oct 2000. Which, incidentally, both involved 91023. It being renumbered 91132 instead of 91123 after overhaul at Bombardier, Doncaster later in 2001.
The Selby crash was very unfortunate as it was caused by a dozy motorist falling asleep at the wheel and driving down an embankment off the M62. No way were the railways to blame for that.
Thanks very much, this is a great station to come to if you have a decent camera which can zoom in rather well, you would get some amazing shots at the corner where the trains enter the final approach into the station
Or it could be that the driver at 17:00 had a text from his misses saying something like ‘honey come home. The bed needs to have a “supsension test”’ and he’s like “damn right i’m going home!”
you have the best videos...... you gave me my train future because you gave me my knowledge on trains and i thank you for it keep up the excellent videos :)
17:10 I can tell you first hand that he is not going slower than the speed limit, 40. By the way I play Train Sim World and I drive a 43 to reading and back
5:41, I don't understand how 2 IETs can come into Paddington simultaneously!! It is awesome but odd!! Both must have gone via or from reading but how can they get there at the same time when there is only one fast track London bound? Unless the empty stock movement went on the slower lines, then that will make sense. Otherwise it is a phenomenon that happened at Paddington. (Not the bear, lol)
To be honest when I get to any London terminus I tend to through any and all logic out of the window and just go along with whatever turns up in whatever order haha! I rhink one of the IET's was held outside of the station and then allowed to enter it at the same time as they other arrival
Absolutely brilliant video from Paddington as all the others have been as well. Again I hope your ears have survived Lol! Will you be going to Clapham Junction as usual to finish off the year? Keep safe, regards Gary.
I love how you say some far and distant land when you don't know where a train is going
That way I cover all the bases for what it could be
Your vids are sooo nerdy - but I can sit watching them for hours.
Good evening :)It's pleausure to watch Your films from London railwaystations;greetings from Warsaw :)
Loved the spot you picked, all the way into the night. Nice work here!
Thanks very much, I find that this spot really does give you a great perspective on how the station works
It was brilliant!
i remember when you would walk into paddington and your feet would be rumbling with all the diesel trains, i've never heard paddington to quiet, how times have changed :(
Same ehe walking through the underpass at Temple Meads. And the smell of the Valentas was magical
Great station Paddington i love it and plenty to see, thanks
This is a great station to come to, just a shame that the HST's no longer come here
When you go to the end of the year you get the London stations love that very much. Great video again and thanks for your answers and heart♥♥♥Have a great weekend x Debby
I love having the chance to get the London stations done, each one has a certain charm to it :) Hope you had a great weekend Debby! X

What else happened at ladbrooke grove?
5th October 1999. I remember it vividly.

Nice London Paddington. I Like The 800s 👍
nice video tornado 922 loved the class 800s and 387s when they were departing and swinging over the points

That could very well be the case!
Really enjoyed these rush hour films can't wait for when you can film them again
Thanks very much, it will now be sometime next year when I get the chance to start these rush hour films again
It's almost as if the trains leaving stations nowadays are just Hornby trainsets with the acceleration they have, it's remarkable.
you have the best videos...... you gave me my train future because you gave me my knowledge on trains and i thank you for it keep up the excellent videos :)
Well thank you kindly for saying so, that really is greatly appreciated
Another Fantastic video here Tornado922! I really enjoyed this :)
Thanks very much
Excellent video 👍
Thanks very much
I am watching this video to see if there is a GWR to Brighton in this video
Great video.
Thanks very much
I like the way they call the 1742 to Cheltnam the Cheltnam express
They have a few names for a lot of their evening services. I know that there was a named service heading to Penzance that evening
25:57 arrival is the wrong way round. First Class on GWR and most intercity operators is at the London end. On this example it’s at the back.
Great Rush Hour videos Tornado.
Thanks very much
Is the 17:33 to Paignton via Westbury
17:10 I can tell you first hand that he is not going slower than the speed limit, 40.
By the way I play Train Sim World and I drive a 43 to reading and back
okay got its but it doesnt really matter
26:14 800s to Penzance? Services from London to Penzance are worked by 802s. Evidence is seen later as an 802 departs for Penzance.
17:00 either this is a driver that wants to go home, or he’s just late, and he wants to catch up with the delay.
no they start of fast but he was fast lol
Copenhagen Rail Productions speed limit is 40 out of the station he might have speeded
@@Gaddafi28709 if he went over 40 the train would have stopped
Sometimes
First to watch, love the 800's, shame the HST's have gone.
The stations loses some of its charm now that the HST's have gone
That 17:33 service was bound for Paignton. The Cancelled 17:30 service was bound for Taunton.
Thank for letting me know
Paddington is a very screechy station! And was I reading that painted sign under the platform edge correctly - glass ballast do not tamp?
hamshackleton It says glued ballast do not tamp. I didn’t know they glued ballast
@@cipher_ - ah GLUED! That makes sense. They glued the ballast on the Dawlish line, where it keeps getting washed away by storm tides.
IET looks cool and quiet.
They do have something about them

London Paddington 2019 before covid 19, GWR 800s replacing the good old class 43/Intercity 125s, nice sparks captured in this video
There was some great variety here
@@Tornado922 London Paddington was better with the HSTs and Turbos
Great video man keep up the good work

Great video Tornado922.
Thanks very much
Good Video it's full of Action and did anyone count the amount of times you said Jolly good
Thanks very much, I must have said jolly good a fair few times haha, I'm sure someone was keeping track
I have never seen and 12 car 387 at London Paddington is it rare

nice video mate love your commentry it gets fantastic at times love the way you keep the waffling in i like it keep em cumming :) syd
Thanks very much Syd
Almost every video on my screen is from you
Superb video of trains at London Paddington, well done. It's strange to no longer see HST's there but like you said that's progress for you.
Thanks very much, the station has lost some of it's charm now that the HST's have gone
@@Tornado922 You're welcome and yes it has. Glad you got to see the Class 332's in action before they are replaced by modified Class 387's.
Yes I don't know when they replaced the 332s from 387s for Heathrow Express
Nice vid
Thanks very much
How busy is Paddington in the rush hour? Because it's really quiet on Sundays. Does it have lots of trains during rush hours
Well this video should answer that for you
Looks like more people like the 800s more than the HSTs,Hitachis get more views than HSTs,same on Flickr.
I guess there is a large group of enthusiasts who like the more modern trains over the old guard
Gwr why get rid of hst's there
op
Hi
First comment love ur vids
I'm glad you do
im really confused why theres someone next to you with a baby and a buggy at the beginning of the video
They were on the platform the same time as me. I don't know who they are

Electric trains are so boring, but really efficient. It's sad. I miss the sound and noises from different engines. 😞
