Several of these gentlemen that passed away, I didn't even remember. However, the show was on 40 years ago and I never saw reruns. Nevertheless, I did enjoy watching it back in the mid-80s.
Lawrence Tierney had a brother also in the acting profession. He, it is said, tried to distance himself from his trouble making brother, he went by the name Scott Brady and was mostly in westerns. His real name was Gerald Tierney. there was an Edward tierney too, also an actor.😃😃😃
Wow, I didn't know that Scott Brady was his brother. From what I've read about Lawrence Tierney; the guy was "trouble in shoes." I think that I would have distanced myself from him as well.
The thumbnail shows James Sikkiing died by being mauled by a bear. He died from medical issues brought on by dementia. Betty Thomas is still alive (according to Wikipedia)
Hollywood Heroics 1960s, FIRE VIDEO
Clickbait blurb. Pretty good longevity on average, AIDS, cancer, misadventure, vehicle wrecks all contributing to the ones who died early, which weren’t many. Travanti and Hamel still alive. Most lived beyond the national average, exceeding 28 people from any other group you could name except centenarians, perhaps. Not a site I will follow up on.
The AI narrator mispronouncing names was very irritating
i agree
I find the mispronunciations entertaining, funny as well as AI revealing.
What's irritating to me is the title promise while more than half of these folks have obituaries that start with the actors and series names followed by _"…was a recurring character known for…"._
Not exactly *cast member,* right?
So sad, R.I.P Actor
Filmed mostly in los Angeles around side streets off main and alvarodo...police station was up on york blvd
Larry D Mann looks suspiciously like Richard O'Brien
RIP angels
People die. We are born to do it.
Sir-peeko??
AI voiceover.
Can a real person do the narrations for once , please
Right off the bat with the diversity messaging. It wasn't an obsession then as it is now for you revisionist social commentators.
Poppy was sloppy.
