- This is the first video in a series of four videos. In this video, i have explained how you can download and install qradar community edition v7.3.3 on VM in Vmware Workstation and Oracle VM Virtual Box. Whether you are using Vmware Workstation or Oracle VM VirtualBox, other than importing the .ova file during installation that I have shown in the video all other steps remain the same.

But I just want to write one thing:
I had to remove the manual IPV4 because, during the initial process, I had an error message.
I read somewhere that using IPV4 as "automatic" removed that specific issue and, worked!

Pls can you tell me what you did after pinging your dns to open a new command for the ls and set up . I’m really stuck at this stage.
Hello, I hope you are doing well. So, I just used the clear command. like this
[root@localhost ~] clear
P.S. Clear command is used to clean up the screen. Even if you do not use this command, you can continue following the steps. It should work.
installation is stuck while "configuring network..." , help plz

Hello! Can you please run ipconfig command on Windows, and ip addr | less command on Qradar, and send me the output? If IP addresses are not in the same range, then that is the issue, make sure to select the Bridge adapter for the Qradar VM.
i tried install it on wmware but when I execute ls -lsth I can't find setup. How can I fix it?
Are you typing ls?
If yes, what else do you see, if not set up?

After you start your Qradar and login as root, wait for some time, then type ip address of Qradar. It should work.
Yes, you can not ping the Qradar as, by default, QRadar drops all ICMP traffic received on the management interfaces and will not respond to ICME echo requests. But you can verify connectivity by pinging the Windows machine from Qradar

@@GTCAyush Maybe your windows host does not respond to the ICMP echo request, can you ping 8.8.8.8? If so it's okay and if you have not received any error while installation and followed the video, then it should work. Also, make sure to use ip address not ip address
