Wonder if it had a printed design on it, or just a matching color, then apply to the inside of a purse or bag? Would it stand up to the day to day use and not come apart.
Would the Corazzo be suitable for an ankle-strap of a sandal or to reinforce the top line of a handmade shoe? Also, You mentioned being able to hand or machine-sew the Napa+Corazzo combo. I’m always careful about gumming up my home sewing machine with adhesives, but in your experience, it’s not a problem? I was looking to order something similar to this from Italy - an adhesive-backed jersey - Do you carry anything similar? Thank you for offering this product and for your patience with my questions. This may be a really useful product for me, but the questions are to help me make sure…
Yes, to reinforce leather for stretch on the ankle strap it would certainly be a good choice. There is such a limited amount of adhesive on this backer that you should have absolutely no issue. I am not familiar with the Jersey material, so I am sorry but cannot advise!
Are you going to be sewing this inside of another strap layer or would the Corazza be exposed? If exposed would you be sewing it in at the end. The adhesive is very strong, but its not a 'permanent' adhesive. That being said if sewn or riveted in (anchored) it would stay in place as it is tear resistant.
I'm curious. I'm new to leather craft, but have done some bookbinding. Is the corazza material similar to heat-n-bond used to create book cloth from fabric?
Clever. Many possibilities for use. Thank You for taking the time to make this video.
You're very welcome!
Brilliant!
Great and clear video! Thanks so much for sharing!

It could, the adhesive is quite strong. Especially if you sew it in at the edges so it wouldn't have an area to begin to peel off from.

Would it gum up a sewing needle, specifically sewing machine needle?
Very very light adhesive so this would be fine for machine sewing without gumming!
Would this work to stop a belt stretching?
This is your version of Veladon? The stuff Eric uses?
Very similar in characteristics
@@Buckleguycom Just bought some.
Would this be a good replacement for nylon tape to reinforce D ring connections? Tape tends to lift when you loop the leather over.

Hi there, I've not used Heat-N-Bond myself but this adhesive does not require any heating prior to application.
@@Buckleguycom thanks, so it’s basically really wide double-stick tape 😃
Can it be cut via laser?
Yes!
