Control (James 3:2) - A controlled tongue reflects maturity and self-discipline.
Blessing or Curse (James 3:9-10) - The tongue can both bless God and curse others, showing inconsistency.
Untamed (James 3:8) - No one can fully tame the tongue; it is restless and can cause harm.
This reminds us to use our words wisely, aiming to build up and reflect God’s goodness.

It’s better to keep quiet 🤫 rather than spewing what does not edify God. I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit for always guiding me. If you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, you won’t mess up. Many times I’ve walked up to my husband to say my mind but the Holy Spirit will stop me in my tracks 😂 And those times, I bypass the HS you know what happened phew 😅. Thank God for the HS!
