Yes, I'm from America. Bernie is quite similar but he stands alone amidst an entirely corrupt system consisting of two counter-revolutionary entities: The Democratic Party and Republican Party. Our fight demands the elimination or at least full scale marginalization of those two parties. Our danger lies in their willingness to deflect our attention from their abject failures by attempting to stir up an insane war with Russia by placing more troops on their border alongside of an entire missle system. Our leadership are the champions of blind arrogance. We need Bernie to be braver and speak more directly to this. We need a Skinner and a Corbyn...and for damn sure a fiery Galloway.
Well said, disgraceful MPs using the excuse of Brexit to oust him. Biggest support for a new leader in recent times, long may he stay the leader and win the next election!
+TheDreadfulCurtain Corbyn is a man of beliefs that would not get Labour elected in a million years. He should go back to what he's best at, being a hard- left protest politician.
+Smullo That's Labour's dilemma now we know Corbyn will be contesting Angela Eagle. Remain a principled protest movement with no hope of power , or swallow their pride and begin the long road back to electability.
We have an opportunity to have a real Labour leader in Corbyn. Stay strong for us Jeremy. We have a chance against austerity, we want free education, NHS rebuilt, nationalise railways, workers rights. Solidarity. Battle on to save Jeremy Corbyn for prime minister.
The idea that Corbyn would appeal to the working class in a non revolutionary period was always difficult for me. The working class in a non revolutionary period is quite socially conservative. Their necessary life activity, as sellers of their labor power within the bourgeoise mode of production, leads their cognition, and that includes their tacit beliefs attitudes and feelings. The idea that they could be persuaded to be socialist was idealist and not a Marxist view. The working class is a revolutionary class but only in certain historical periods. Within non revolutionary periods they as a class necessarily must have thoughts-feelings and attitudes that justify and perpetuate their necessary life activity as participants in bourgeoise society. In any given population at any one time in a non revolutionary period there can only be a small number of real Bolsheviks. Which is why a Marxist party must normally devote itself to building a cadre. Of course entryism can lead to comrades within social democratic parties like the Labour party coming into the revolutionary fold but that is the limit. The idea that the Labour party could become a means to persuading the working class to vote for socialism within a non revolutionary period is a pipe dream.
The very same issues are happening in Ireland. The same austerity and the same oppression's . Its incredible how in Ireland we have the very same issues and crushing austerity. I only wish we had a Jeremy Corbyn but our Labour Party sold out the people and joined our Tory Party called Fianna Gael. But we won't take it anymore. We are fighting back and winning, Good on you Labour more power to you.
i lobe jeremy but his job as the opposition is too attack the tories, but he has been useless in doing so, he is not firm enough to run the labour party, i agree with his politics but he has to be a more outspoken opposition instead of letting the tories get away with it.
The Blairites abstained at so many Tory policies where he opposed. He goes on protests and marches and strikes while the careerists of Labour sat at home.
+Upful Soul integrity doesnt win elections, corbyn has the politics to repair this country but he does not have the support of the people, it is all well and good going to marches and rallies but only devout supporters of him will show up to them, he has to do more to attack tory policy and win over the british public, if not this country will fall to ukip or another fringe party.
Adebayo Akinfenwa He's the British Bernie Sanders. His job is to reform the party and make sure that progressive policies are centre stage. I don't think any Labour candidate can beat Boris in a general election. The next PM will have to be someone that supported Brexit because they would have to do important negotiations with the EU. The public will always be opposed to higher taxes which Corbyn would need to raise. So it will be a failure of Tory policies that will give Labour another chance. That maybe 2 or 3 election cycles away but it's worth the wait if Labour are truly more progressive.
You Brits are super lucky to have Corbyn and Skinner.

Thanks George. Jeremy is like the British equivalent of Bernie Sanders, both great men.
Unfortunately we have rightwing press propaganda, and and the people are blind sided by it.
Tim Stevens Well that worked out well for America didn't it?
Well said, disgraceful MPs using the excuse of Brexit to oust him. Biggest support for a new leader in recent times, long may he stay the leader and win the next election!
This is the kind of action we need. Not politicians in a little room in parliament, this kind of action shows strength.
Why wasn't this on the news? Nothing
An inspiring speech for sure.... Keep it up Jeremy Corbyn!
This aged well
I love Corbyn he is a man of true beliefs, I think he needs more charisma, but he is the best we have.

the right wing media and blairites hushed this up ! superb !!
That Dianne isn’t the sharpest tool in the box I have to be honest I don’t know how she made her way into the commons she can barley talk?
Corbyn is a great man. He
Should lead the country.
Skinner looks like al Pacino! What a f'ing guy
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
Great Speech.
Jeremy Corbyn and the likes should make a new party 'Socialist Party of Britain'.
The Beast ❤️

Who then? Fucking Ed? He's tougher than Ed and has more integrity than slimly Blairites.

+Adebayo Akinfenwa under him Labour won every contested mayor, a huge margin of councils, largest membership in a long time

Why doesn't the Labour Party elect Diane Abbot as its leader then she will bang the final nail in the coffin of this turgid group.
Gisella Stuart, new Labour BREXIT leader, can beat Boris in a general election
Supporting Corbyn as Labour leader is like having Gazza back in the England team. Great for nobody except the opposition.
