I didnt know it was the birthday flower for may.. My grandfather planted Lilly of the Valley by their old house a long time ago. He wasnt much for flowers or gardening. Until yesterday, I thought that they were my grandmas. I never thought they were grandpas. Mom was born in may. so I wonder if he got them for her. Sadly ill never know since he passed away last year. But its nice to think that he did. they've nearly taken over and the old house is caving in now. But I think ill pick one up when they get going and plant it at my house this year.
