In July 1997 Jamiroquai pays a quick visit to the TMF studio in Holland, to talk about their new albun Travelling Without Moving.
After 2 successful albums Jamrioquai’s front man Jay Kay decided that it was time to go for a new approach. He decided to change his image and leave his recognizable big hat at home from now on. He started dressing more sophisticated and started working on a more sophisticated music style. In July 1997 Jamroquai was appeared in the TMF Show MPTV, hosted by Vj Michael Pilarczyk, to promote their new upcoming album Travelling Without Moving

Sucks to settle for crumbs of Jamiroquai content with them being considered "relatively underground" in 2023, but whenever I find an interview with less than like, 10,000 views, I feel as if I've struck gold. Always nice to watch something I've never seen before and get an idea of what different countries' popular music talk shows were like, especially back then. I wonder exactly which hat of Jay's they were working on at the time of this interview. 🤔
