When I was a boy, my brother and I both opened tons of LOB , MRD , SRL and IOC. We got so excited about Starter Theme Decks coming later on. I got SDJ and my brother got SDY of course. Couldn’t find SDK 😢 Such a freaking nostalgia! 😭 for LOB D.M is my favorite.

Dude this legacy week has brought the best content I could have asked for thank you for doing this series these are my favorite sets. I'm so glad they made these sets easily accessible again. I got back into Yugioh in 2018 so I had just missed the boat on the 2017 legendary collection. The past 3 years I would hunt down these packs in Walmart, target, rite aid, Walgreens and CVS. My best memory is going to Walmart and seeing mystery cubes for 15$ each, only 3 had LOB packs inside. From those 3 packs I pulled Dark Magician, Blue eyes and the right arm of Exodia. Incredible memory that I wish I had on film.

this brings back so many memories i mean i wasn’t old enough to open them but i remember waking up early on the weekends to watch the original yugioh and you and ruxin34 have gotten be back into buying and opening packs and i bought a booster box of max of memories and pulled my first collector rare card

Legend of Blue Eyes. The 1st booster pack i was given, where i pulled my 1st Secret Rare Tri-Horned Dragon. Pulled it again last week from the 25th Anniversary set. So happy about this set

that's pretty good pull ratio for 40 packs! i still have a lob blue eyes i got in a trade and a tri horned i pulled from a random blister from a walmart mystery pack albeit their the game board editon reprint packs. still watching tis has brought back good memories.
Gaia the dragon champion is such an unappreciated card. One of my absolute favorites.

that card has always been Metal Dragon, Rare Metal Dragon is in the promo pack for the first movie, a level 4 with 2400 ATK that cannot be normal summoned or set

Awesome pulls! The ratios out of these 25th anniversary boxes have been pretty solid. However, prices for singles from these sets will crash hard when the booster boxes come out in July

I remember when Yugioh first came out, kids in my school had brought in their cards and I thought they looked so cool so I pressured my mom to buy me a couple packs and one of my first ever pulls was Gaia the dragon champion. Ended up trading it for a common toon blue eyes white dragon from the Pegasus deck. RIP
I remember my bad trades too man, but also the good ones! But hey, toon dragon has more ATK points!
