Yeah the worldgov sending out people to search for the golden city while claiming noland was lying to get rid of the truth the poneglyph and those that know history... is something i told a few people a while ago discussing different one piece theories...
i think imu has the moon god fruit with the power to rewrite reality specialising in space. a fruit with a ink body. if you google ink ink fruit it will look like no lands hair.
Noland came too soon, but unlike Roger. He never knew that. For all he knew it was his time, his world, his story. He was the protagonist of his own story. He never knew the antagonist. He died not knowing a thing. That is unbelievably sad. It's also an idea Oda uses elsewhere. What comes to mind now is Rebecca's mother dying not knowing Kyros existed. Ignorance is a sad existence.
It's such a weird mind set of the Ds. Yeah its cool 800 years later we are gonna get you back so all is good I'll smile. It's cool that slaves are gonna suffer for the next 30 generations and live and die a miserable life. Nikas gonna come in 8 centuries so all is good
The way i interpret the Joyboy prophecy is that there isn't a chosen one, but a chosen many born every generation. Noland, Caligara, Roger, Ace, Luffy and Usopp are all potential Joyboys. The reason Luffy is able to bring the Dawn is because he was lucky enough to have everything happen all at once. Maybe there were other Joyboys that made it to Laughtale like Rogee but had no way get the message out like Roger or there wasnt a Posideon born at the time. To me, Noland is like Ace in that he was talen out before he could reach his true potential.
Luffy is that chosen one. he is joyboys reincarnation/will. The average guy you want to see who worked his ass to laugh tale was roger, not luffy. Fate is a major factor in one piece.
Pard Luffy is the chosen one by his own choices. He chose to eat the fruit, and while he inherited Roger's will but not from being exposed to Roger and his ilk but by his own life experiences before he met Shanks. There is fate, and I'm not doubting that, but Luffy could have chosen not to follow the Joyboy path, as Oda has shown there are bad ends. Luffy became Joyboy by his own choices that allowed him to acquire more Joyboy qualities so he can bring the Dawn and fulfill the prophecy.
@@NicSantiagoG Nobody else could have eaten that fruit though. The story makes it clear that the Nika fruit avoids people. It hadn't been eaten in over 800 years, making it clear that even before Shanks took it nobody was able to actually consume it for whatever reason. Also I agreed with the point of people inheriting that Will such as Roger, but stating Usopp is joyboy is the dumbest thing I've heard. I think Roger was definitely an inheritor just born in the wrong time. Ace, however, was not and Usopp definitely isn't. Remember, Joyboy/Nika is essentially freedom incarnate, a man of freedom would not be a subordinate. Roger wasn't, Joyboy 99.99% was leader and Luffy is Captain. Even when Ace told Luffy to join him he refused. Ace and Usopp became subordinates, which disqualifies them immediately from being the personification of freedom. Luffy didn't "become" Joyboy, he simply was by his nature. Hence Toki saying that the dawn would come in 20 years because he would be born. Also Shirahoshi was no doubt born at the same time as Luffy for a reason, as the oracle predicted his coming along with hers. He's essentially the chosen one, regardless of the path he chose in life he would do whatever he wanted specifically which is the essence of being Joyboy. I think the will passed through generations, and Roger carried it to pave the way for Luffy's path but Luffy was ultimately the true reincarnation of Nika. Usopp is a coward, even if he becomes a brave warrior in the end he is too cowardly to ever be a Joyboy candidate in the slightest. Example being how he was tempted to deny Luffy being Pirate King when he was being threatened by the dino girl in Wano. No matter how close he is to death, Luffy would never deny such a thing and would smile in the face of death.
Neve considered, but having this take of Usopp being an actual Noland's descendant is quite amazing! Now I thought there's some weird explanation that Noland's descendant were split into those who did believe Noland was a liar came to have unique features, unlike those who didn't: While the ones who thought he was lying came to develop a long nose associated with liars, much like a sort of "mark of sin", while those who thought Noland was truthful kept the "chestnut". Very interesting indeed.
Skypeia keeps on giving long after its time. What I've really been wondering about though is why Imu specifically hates Blackbeard on the same level she hates Luffy, Vivi and Shirayoshi. We know why she hates the other 3, but we have no clue yet as to why Blackbeard was among the posters and why his was defiled and cut up like Luffy's. Luffy is Joyboy, Shirayoshi is Poseidon, Vivi is the descendant of the D who spread the ponyglyphs around the world. Blackbeard though? What ties him back to the Void century like the other 3? Is it just because of Rocks? Then the question is what ties Rocks back to the Void century? Blackbeard was singled out by Imu to be among these figures that all tie back to the Void century in some way but we haven't got a clue what exactly it is that puts him there.

Wow you unpacked sooo much in this video! The ancient records must be like the guidelines for the Ancient kingdom tech and that’s why Oden and Roger understood more about time because they too were aware of the timing of everything. Wow I even think IMU is related to Noland and the shandians
I think the whole 5 year thing with Nolan might just take inspiration for how difficult it was to obtain sponsorship from royalty for voyages in real life. Christopher Columbus in particular tried to get funding from several countries and was turned down by England, France and Portugal before Spain finally gave him the money to do it. That's just my guess, Oda likes to throw real-world references into these things.
Skypiea has always been underrated for some reason, but it's always been one of my favorites from the scenery, to the unique fights, and Enel just overall being a great villain. How people could be that divided over an arc about a sky island and basically El Dorado is beyond me.
Thinking about Oden and Noland reminds me of Fisher Tiger. I'd even say he was a more tragic case. He witnessed the worst in Marie Jois, he freed everyone and in a dilemna with himself. It somehow reminds me of Nika as well. No wonder whoswho asked Jinbe about him. I think that racism towards fish men has begun accidentally. And it was Joy Boy who apologised. Its also interesting that Jaya was sent upwards and that maybe Fish Man Island was sent downwards. As if someone was behind it. Lets say the king actually found Jaya, he would have declared war and killed everyone. A poneglyph would have been in the hands of the world government. The worst possible out come. Imagine the guit noland must have felt if that had happen. I mean look. The road poneglyph is safe under water. Just as the road poneglyph in wano was or zou. Places isolated from the world. Even before shandora got shot up to the sky it was an isolated place, yet it attracted people towards it location the sea kings were heard by roger and oden, road poneglyph there zounisha was heard by luffy and momo, road poneglyph there the bell was heard, poneglyph there I wonder where big mom got hers
I believe joyboy was originally meant to reincarnate into noland but was unable to for whatever reason and thus waited another 400 years and if you think about it there would’ve been another Poseidon in the ryugu kingdom during his time as well
Joyboy dont reincarnate. His spirit is not literaly inside Luffy now. What happens is that some people inherit the will of someone that have died. In this case, Luffy is the closest to Joy Boy since Roger died, not only that, but Luffy has the Nika fruit that Roger did not have, so this is why Luffy is "JoyBoy", not because he have his literal spirit, but because just like Joyboy, Luffy will bring freedom to the slaves, but while Joyboy failed, Luffy will suceed. Noland, as cool as he was, was not a pirate, but a sailor who played by the rules of the goverment. So he could not fully inherit the will of Joyboy. This has nothing to do with literal reincarnation.
perhaps Nolans science over faith and evolution of humanity aproach shows how the world government began, people who wanted to abandon the gods, who to them only held them back, to advance humanity... but in the process, became cruel and controlling. Maybe at some point, they did believe in the vacant throne, but after some event, they decided that Imu should become the "new god"
Thank God i FINALLY found, after a decade being a one piece fan, someone that see Noland as the luffy/Roger/JoyBoy from 400 years ago. He is so underrated almost invisible in people's mind
Even if the rest of Jaya wasn't launched by Knock Up Stream, Noland's blunder would've been beyond catastrophic. The Shandians would've been wiped out, and Shandora the City of Gold would've been destroyed and I think Noland would've turned pirate from it all. So I guess in a way, that Jaya end up in the sky is very much a blessing. Although I would be surprised if the knock up stream was a world government creation.
Just imagine the Gorosei revealing they created the knockup stream to "send those aliens back" or smth like that. It would be such a huge showcase of their power and influence. Not only destroyed it a potential Joyboy before he could knew a single thing, it also isolated an advanced tribe from space to not mess with their ruling.
I had one question in mind for years now, if Noland didn't know about any treasure/one piece or Void century at this time. then who was the man or entity that told Roger about a treasure/one piece? As we know Roger was the man who made the information about the treasured public but who was the man Roger took inspiration from... yes there are Poneglyphs but Roger was not able to read them until he met Oden!!. but he already knew that Poneglyphs will show him the way to one piece do you know something about this?? by the way, love your video/theories😁😍
When Roger met Rayleigh, he already knew the meaning of D. This is why he mentions turning the world upside down. If he knew the meaning of D, then he knew about Imu and other things. How would he know? Probably, knowledge kept hidden and passed down through his family line. It was probably the injustice done to the D clan that inspired him to find and reveal the truth, that the D's aren't demons but are on the side of god, and the "gods" are the true demons who were set in place by the devil, Imu. His family could've thought he was THE Joyboy, also. Finding the one piece must've revealed the greater story, and that he wasn't the one to drag the mighty gods, the celestial dragons and their father/mother the devil, from their thrones and raise the D's name back up to its former glory as lights in the world.
wasnt it implied that the voice of all things hinted to him that whatever was on the poneglyphs was important? maybe on lodestar there was something with the voice that directly told him
Bro all your videos HIT‼️ In my opinion One Piece doesn’t truly feeling like One Piece until you get to Skypeia!! The whole setup from Jiya to the end was BEYOND PEAK!! We got soooooooo much introduced it’s crazy and it’s truly a arc of info dumps for the future of OP😂😂 I have a new appreciation for Noland and his FEATS MY GOD‼️
5:00 You're a bit mistaken here. Regarding the bell, nobody knew where it was - neither the Shandians nor the Skypeans. Roger befriended the old Kami for sure, probably made friends among the Skypeans as well, not sure about the Shandeans. But befriending the natives wouldn't have had much of an impact on his search for the bell since they didn't know where it was. And it didn't seem like Roger told the natives about its location afterwards, since even the old Kami was surprised by its reveal in the end, and Enel certainly didn't know where it was. The Shandeans also didn't know the location even though it was extremely important to them. It wasn't until Luffy arrived and rang it that everybody knew. Remember, it hadn't been rung a single time since the day Upper Yard arrived at Skypea. It seems to be heavily implied that Roger went on an adventure at Upper Yard with his crew, no oversight by the natives, found the bell when nobody else could because it had such a loud voice, read/inscribed the message, and then got out of dodge, kinda like Luffy did (minus the whole 'save the island' bit).
The Mont Blanc on the bell was coincidence for sure. Sometimes you just get in the addiction of drawing a particular shape, and you want to fit it in everywhere. "A circle is boring, let's do this" - Probably Oda on several thousand occasions.
Noland is one of my personal favorite One Piece characters (my # 1 you can guess) & I agree with Usopp being related to him with my theory being that Usopp’s mother Banchina is a direct descendant of Noland
I will forever be sad that nolan died bearing the title of a liar anf kalgara never fulfilling his promise. Luffy doing it for them was euphoric but I wish they knew before the end
Roger didn't get permission from the Skypieans, He found the bell on his own and never told them. They thought it was lost until the straw hats showed up.
I think that instead of joy boy candidates, there were others like Nolan and Roger whose lives were meant to bring about the eventual rise of the actual joy boy. All of these things were needed and were pursued by a greater fated power or perhaps, the will of the ancestors who died during the battle in the old kingdom.
It makes absolute sense that Oda took offense that people dissed Skypea and decided to link all his future arcs to it so all the haters can feel dumb realising how much lore rich Skypea really was.
So fate in this story is basically carried out by voices. Whoever houses these voices controls fate. How did the voices get there, though? Souls inside objects/animals?
interesting you mentioned the dates, In case you don't know already, One Piece is set in 1522, the same year Ferdinand Magellan completed the world's first circumnavigation. Interesting detail but Magellan died before finishing the journey, foreshadowing?
The injustice to Noland fueled Xebec's agenda, and Yasopp left his family to sail with Shanks in hopes of helping to undo the Evils committed by Xebec (Xebec being Yasopp's father).
The first thing this made me think of is the bells on Zunesha to greet guests. I suppose they forgot the purpose of the bell - to be found by the right people?
they might not have know rodger even went to the bell when in skypiea I only say this because when luffy went to skypia and upperyard the shandians at that point didnt even know where the bell was currently located Robin was the one who figured out it must be at the top of giant jack( the big bean stock looking tree) the one main shandian who was a descendent of calgera nolands buddy was shocked they found it
41:11 AT THIS TIME YOU CAN SEE A KID WITH A STRAW HAR CLEARLY ENJOYING NOLANDS STORY SND MAYBE EVEN BEJNG INSPIRED BY IT WHICH COULD HAVE LEAD TO THE ORIGIN OF SAID HAT
There could be a connection with music and soul but it's clearly implied that Brook is just AWAKENED His DF is to REVIVE HIMSELF. Awakening affects things other than the user. The homies have souls inside them. Brook REVIVED THE SOULS, that's how he beat them.
I have never thought about that but: The Shandians were absolute master builders: Calgara's house was _cut in half_ and yet it's abandoned remains stood tall for 400 years. That's incredible. Especially as it isn't a massive solid stone structure like the sacrifical altar. The walls are actually rather thin. I have a genuine question: Why are we always talk about Brook as proof of the existence of the soul in One Piece? And not talk about Big Mom's *Soul-Soul* Fruit? And before you say: "Well, that's a Devilfruit, so..." Why is Brook still in this world again? I know that's a minor detail in this video specifically but it just annoys me overall.

Even before shandora got shot up to the sky it was an isolated place, yet it attracted people towards it location
the sea kings were heard by roger and oden, road poneglyph there
zounisha was heard by luffy and momo, road poneglyph there
the bell was heard, poneglyph there
I wonder where big mom got hers
@@214skrilla6 maybe your mom.
@@sonofcronos7831 you clearly know nothing about reincarnation and like a quarter of what you said is confirmed so calm tf down

When you put it that way, it’s almost like Imu saw Skypeia and yeeted it into the sky.
perhaps Nolans science over faith and evolution of humanity aproach shows how the world government began, people who wanted to abandon the gods, who to them only held them back, to advance humanity... but in the process, became cruel and controlling.
Maybe at some point, they did believe in the vacant throne, but after some event, they decided that Imu should become the "new god"
Honestly looking back at this video and its definitely a parallel to Devil fruits growing on trees as the inherited will and dreams carrying on
The Bell also had Gol D Rogers mustache. Never noticed all these details before :D great vid!
Thank God i FINALLY found, after a decade being a one piece fan, someone that see Noland as the luffy/Roger/JoyBoy from 400 years ago. He is so underrated almost invisible in people's mind
Nolan’d wasn’t a D, and Odin smiled for a different reason being dude was happy he was able to save his friends
noland finding a island of Gold (Gol D Roger)(Gold island) while Roger Finding a island of no land (Noland)(laugh tale)
Not only was that noland’s hair on joyboy’s spear but it was also on the pillars of the golden bell
Don’t sleep on the chestnut….
I'm happy when Nami told Zoro a story about Noland in Live Action. It will be a strong foreshadowing in Live Action.
whenever i hear the happy music at 21:00 it always bring the happy laughs and tears to my eyes
I just randomly stumbled upon this video. It is just so beautifully said. I can’t believe how much of a genius Oda is
I had one question in mind for years now, if Noland didn't know about any treasure/one piece or Void century at this time. then who was the man or entity that told Roger about a treasure/one piece? As we know Roger was the man who made the information about the treasured public but who was the man Roger took inspiration from... yes there are Poneglyphs but Roger was not able to read them until he met Oden!!. but he already knew that Poneglyphs will show him the way to one piece
do you know something about this??
by the way, love your video/theories😁😍
When Roger met Rayleigh, he already knew the meaning of D. This is why he mentions turning the world upside down. If he knew the meaning of D, then he knew about Imu and other things. How would he know? Probably, knowledge kept hidden and passed down through his family line. It was probably the injustice done to the D clan that inspired him to find and reveal the truth, that the D's aren't demons but are on the side of god, and the "gods" are the true demons who were set in place by the devil, Imu. His family could've thought he was THE Joyboy, also.
Finding the one piece must've revealed the greater story, and that he wasn't the one to drag the mighty gods, the celestial dragons and their father/mother the devil, from their thrones and raise the D's name back up to its former glory as lights in the world.
im guessing its the man on rogers jolly roger
He learned it on lodestar Island but we don't know the details yet
wasnt it implied that the voice of all things hinted to him that whatever was on the poneglyphs was important? maybe on lodestar there was something with the voice that directly told him
@@gamigngrampa4380 hooo
6:23 oh hell nah, Noland would easily solo you 💀
Here we go, just when i wad freaking bored, you uploaded
"No bitches, Noland?"
Crazy how my favorite one piece vídeo was the usopp one from hidden and this one is just up there alongside It now
Bro all your videos HIT‼️ In my opinion One Piece doesn’t truly feeling like One Piece until you get to Skypeia!!
Love this video man! Keep it up 👍🏽
Thank you!! Plenty more to come :D
Naw the war thunder add was devious I was so invested in the Noland story
16:29 there's a little blunder in there too. It's 400 years 'after' the void century. Other than that, great video, thanks!
I'm excited to see this story on the live action
Because he know’s he’s not lying
Noland is one of my personal favorite One Piece characters (my # 1 you can guess) & I agree with Usopp being related to him with my theory being that Usopp’s mother Banchina is a direct descendant of Noland
Imagine your friend suddenly comes to visit you. Bringing with him his 10 adult male lion pets.😂
Luckily you have evacuated in a short time.
Your channel is still so underrated, you really deserve more of an audience. love the content so much man keep it up
I will forever be sad that nolan died bearing the title of a liar anf kalgara never fulfilling his promise. Luffy doing it for them was euphoric but I wish they knew before the end
“Roger had to be friends with the skypians” i mean, gonfall literally said he had a pirate friend from the blue sea twenty years ago
naah that honky tonk strawhat theme is perfect to resolute this arguably top 5 story but many skipped so it’s not recognized a lot
11:25 lol "ottamotta'
Fantastic Vid yet again 🎉 :D I did a theory many many moons ago about how the monkey d family were royals of the ancient kingdom
Roger didn't get permission from the Skypieans, He found the bell on his own and never told them. They thought it was lost until the straw hats showed up.
Whats the music used throughout the intro?
A lofi remix of Memories!
I think that instead of joy boy candidates, there were others like Nolan and Roger whose lives were meant to bring about the eventual rise of the actual joy boy. All of these things were needed and were pursued by a greater fated power or perhaps, the will of the ancestors who died during the battle in the old kingdom.
Remember how foolish i was to think this was a filler arc, 9 years later, only understanding what a treasure of a lore arc this was
What about the giant beanstalk that popped up under the island seems like greenbulls devil fruit or one of ussops plant bullets not natural either way
It makes absolute sense that Oda took offense that people dissed Skypea and decided to link all his future arcs to it so all the haters can feel dumb realising how much lore rich Skypea really was.
Calgara has a crescent moon beard.
So fate in this story is basically carried out by voices. Whoever houses these voices controls fate. How did the voices get there, though? Souls inside objects/animals?
Why No land is my favorite character
interesting you mentioned the dates, In case you don't know already, One Piece is set in 1522, the same year Ferdinand Magellan completed the world's first circumnavigation. Interesting detail but Magellan died before finishing the journey, foreshadowing?
the ancestors from the trees are the ones who hid the bell in the sky
Maybe there is some sort of digging creature, creating caverns for knock up streams. Some kind of mole-like creature
It is a great day, when Dak posts a new video.
Norland story makes me so happy and cry
Usop and Noland they quite same
No wonder in dress Rosa he was deemed their hero.
Oda is cooking
Calling it now - Rocks D Xebec is the descendent of Noland, and Usopps Grandfather.
Enel story is so underrated. In a world 🌎 of no electricity with such said power he considered himself God
I think his Backstory could be interesting. Why He is the only one with no Wings?
Amazing video, thank you very much.
so glad noland is coming back into the story
they might not have know rodger even went to the bell when in skypiea I only say this because when luffy went to skypia and upperyard the shandians at that point didnt even know where the bell was currently located Robin was the one who figured out it must be at the top of giant jack( the big bean stock looking tree) the one main shandian who was a descendent of calgera nolands buddy was shocked they found it
So Usopp is branch family once he realize. 😂😂😂 I bet Usopp realize his lie will come true and is unavoidable
What if the nika fruit was in the trees and couldn’t reincarnated until someone cut the trees
why does 21:08 look so much like Luffy or Ace's maternal bloodline and also I see Shiki here...
16:51 just like Luffy saving Margerite
When Luffy was there the Skypiea people didn't know where the bell was, so Roger must have found it with out there help!
22:10 wasnt Quetzalcoatl one of the few gods who didn't want sacrifices?
41:11 AT THIS TIME YOU CAN SEE A KID WITH A STRAW HAR CLEARLY ENJOYING NOLANDS STORY SND MAYBE EVEN BEJNG INSPIRED BY IT WHICH COULD HAVE LEAD TO THE ORIGIN OF SAID HAT
bro all of your videos are fire!
That’s the worst pain born to early Nolan would’ve loved roger luffy devil fruits
Is Luffy going backwards the way Roger went
There could be a connection with music and soul but it's clearly implied that Brook is just AWAKENED
His DF is to REVIVE HIMSELF.
Awakening affects things other than the user.
The homies have souls inside them.
Brook REVIVED THE SOULS, that's how he beat them.
Keep up the good work beautiful video! 💪🔥
I've always thought the Gorosei had something to do with what happened. That's why they thought they could kill Roger no problem.
Great video 👍🏾
I like that even Nolands top hair is halfway shaved
2:39 masira has that same feat so it ain’t that good
I have never thought about that but: The Shandians were absolute master builders: Calgara's house was _cut in half_ and yet it's abandoned remains stood tall for 400 years. That's incredible. Especially as it isn't a massive solid stone structure like the sacrifical altar. The walls are actually rather thin.
I have a genuine question:
Why are we always talk about Brook as proof of the existence of the soul in One Piece? And not talk about Big Mom's *Soul-Soul* Fruit?
And before you say: "Well, that's a Devilfruit, so..." Why is Brook still in this world again?
I know that's a minor detail in this video specifically but it just annoys me overall.
I think Noland has the will of D….. Nolan “D” Leblanc
always felt terrible for Noland... right down to his unfortunate name....
More than a pirate he is a BAD ASS EXPLORER
Anyone else see koko on nolands hip
