as a person who did NOT vote tsb, here are some of my views: 1.tsb did not deserve to be in the strategy genre you mash buttons, which does not require "strategy", people also need to understand that skill is not strategy, they're different things. 2. the voting is rigged these past few days in the innovation awards have been nothing but a popularity clash. take deepwoken vs. blox fruits for example, many will agree that blox fruits is a worse game than deepwoken, and despite that, since blox fruits have more players, blox fruit won. this is no different with what happened to best strategy, i would say tds is pretty much the only game which requires strategy (anime defenders is a 99% gambling 1% strategy so we dont include that), and yet tsb won despite it being a fighting game. 3. bribery this award voting has been played like an election by the tsb devs, giving benefits to kids who does not understand what an award show is. the award show is meant to give awards to the best games, not the games which provides the best incentives and benefits for players to vote for. however, as you can see, the game with the best incentives (tsb) won because "free kj" 4. void promises, null hype, lame excuses the incentive that "we will work faster on updates" is not quantified. this is most likely a lame excuse by the devs, trying to make their job look like volunteer work. Devs updating the game should be done regardless of rather they win an award or not. Plus, they do not exactly show how "fast" they will be after the award wins, because that cant be quantified, and development speed cant be either. this created a fake promise that "the devs will update faster if we vote" that could be easily seen through as an excuse if the tsb player base isn't so blinded by hype. edit: omg I started a war

Reason why tsb will win in both: We have to take the factor of the first game total votes of Blox fruits, we'll call it B, aka 960K, and Tsb, we call it T, is 1.7M. So 1.7M > 960K meaning T > B.

Tsb is in a way, a strategy game. By using your moves you can make combos and even enhance your performance by utilizing little mechanics with your moveset to make techs, using techs and moves to create combos. Not to mention you have to use strategy's to counter and defeat opponents. By using techs that can waste their evasive so your combo can run longer and deal the most damage. The strategy in most fights is to catch them with m1s or forward dashing to start a combo. Another strategy would be trying to get their evasive out of them to win. That's the two main strategy's I've seen experienced players use, but in fights against characters there are ways to counter them like blocking, and catching them when they have end lag after a move. This can be shown when you block deadly ninja's whirlwind kick, if you block it you have around 2-3 seconds to react and effectively counter with your m1s. Alongside with that a majority of deadly ninja's moveset is blockable so if they use moves at random times you can block as much as possible which is a strategy, maybe not the best if they are skilled with it but nonetheless it is still a strategy. That's four strategys and I have only showed one of the many characters in the game, so just imagine how many more strategies you can use to fend yourself off against other players.
i also play blox fruits but trust me, as a blox fruits player i can confirm that we dont want the devs to win it because they are delaying an update for 8 MONTHS, i dont think it is winning

sonic is an aoe, and can be blocked easily, but has high speeds. you need a STRATEGY to master it, block-break constantly, and abuse the speed. thats what the outer arrows represent. garou can be considered melee in its close range, but has its attacks lunging, and a bit of aoe. thats what the straight arrows represents. now, in duels, 2v2s specifically, you need a STRATEGY to combine the speeds of sonic and the melee of garou to kill the enemy, but not accidentally kill your teammate. (trust me, sonic always ends up accidentally killing their teammate before the enemy 😭)

Tsb is in a way, a strategy game. By using your moves you can make combos and even enhance your performance by utilizing little mechanics with your moveset to make techs, using techs and moves to create combos. Not to mention you have to use strategy's to counter and defeat opponents. By using techs that can waste their evasive so your combo can run longer and deal the most damage. The strategy in most fights is to catch them with m1s or forward dashing to start a combo. Another strategy would be trying to get their evasive out of them to win. That's the two main strategy's I've seen experienced players use, but in fights against characters there are ways to counter them like blocking, and catching them when they have end lag after a move. This can be shown when you block deadly ninja's whirlwind kick, if you block it you have around 2-3 seconds to react and effectively counter with your m1s. Alongside with that a majority of deadly ninja's moveset is blockable so if they use moves at random times you can block as much as possible which is a strategy, maybe not the best if they are skilled with it but nonetheless it is still a strategy. That's four strategys and I have only showed one of the many characters in the game, so just imagine how many more strategies you can use to fend yourself off against other players.

So here’s the problem: kj might be pushed back to September. I think Rdc is going to be around September, and Flowers said that kj releases AFTER the voting, and I think that voting INCLUDES people’s choice, which will be announced at RDC. So maybe it will take that long but I’m not sure.

sonic is an aoe, and can be blocked easily, but has high speeds. you need a STRATEGY to master it, block-break constantly, and abuse the speed. thats what the outer arrows represent.
garou can be considered melee in its close range, but has its attacks lunging, and a bit of aoe. thats what the straight arrows represents. now, in duels, 2v2s specifically, you need a STRATEGY to combine the speeds of sonic and the melee of garou to kill the enemy, but not accidentally kill your teammate. (trust me, sonic always ends up accidentally killing their teammate before the enemy 😭)

Let's clear up the misunderstanding between is TSB a strategy game? (Read if you want)
First, lets look at the definition of a strategy game
"A type of game where the players' uncoered, decision making skills have a high significance in determining the outcome."
In TSB, decision making skills doesnt have much significance in determining the outcome of the fight, so its already down one.
TSB is a video game, so see if strategy video games match up with TSB mechanics
"Strategy is a major video game genre that emphasizes thinking and planning over direct instant action in order to achieve victory. Although many types of video games can contain strategic elements, as a genre, strategy games are most commonly defined as those with a primary focus on high-level strategy, logistics and resource management."
In TSB resource management and high-level strategy logistics are not found, also most players of TSB dont usually read their opponents moves because the movement are usually random and they definetly cant analyze the opponents moves and timing in such a short amount of time before the enemy attacks.
In these two TSB can already be proven to NOT be a strategy game but i shall continue to prove that TSB isnt a strategy game to these 'TSB Meatriders'
Now lets look at the sub categories

1. KJ is an admin character, which already makes him lucrative, not only that but since it IS admin. people can't just be developers of the game straight out.
2. KJ is locked behind the FATTEST paywall known to human civilization. EA would be proud of this no doubt, but jokes aside, KJ has to be one of the most expensive video game characters in gaming HISTORY, on the list for sure.
3. KJ is limited to both Admins and Top Donators, which since becoming a dev is near zero in percentages, the easiest way to obtain KJ will be donating, and since imed already has top spot in All Time Donators, Top Monthly Donators are the most sure-fire way to obtain him, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, people will be waiting like people did with gamestop back then with Halo releases, the front would be packed with tents, so you have to have a Hunger Games-like battle against everyone with your wallet in hand.
