In this game yes Kyler was bad. But looking at the season as a whole, the problem that stands out to me is the pass game, specifically the deep pass. There isn’t one. When the run game isn’t working/not available, they have no legitimate pass game other than McBride. There needs to be a change whether it’s the OC or the pass game coordinator or both.
The Cardinals definitely need to move on from Kyler. I was one of his biggest defenders last offseason and he totally destroyed my confidence in him. He was a massive disappointment this year. He wilts under pressure. No more excuses for Murray, i don't want to hear it anymore. His play has been unacceptable at this point. He showed everyone exactly who he is. An AVERAGE QB. Thats all. They need to trade him this off-season, sign a vet and draft another guy. Look at all the rookie QBs... Williams, Daniels, & Nix, all performed better than Murray this year. He is in year 6, no need to drag this out any longer, Kyler's had plenty of chances. He's had 2 years with JG & Petzing, coaching is not the problem this time. Monti and JG need to back up what they preach regarding accountability and replacing players who are not pulling their weight. And right now Murray is an anchor who is losing games. The Cardinals definitely have a better chance to compete with a solid veteran like Darnold along with a rookie QB next year. We must move on. Gannon and Monti cannot allow their blind loyalty to Murray jeopardize their jobs and future.
Kyler is not the answer and marvin harrison jr is not good. Should have traded down to get picks. Seattle games we were totally dominated at line of scrimmage so couldnt blane kyler but he looks lost not reading defenses not thriwing in middle of the field. Draft a qb middle of draft. We have so many holes hard to say what to do
Best case scenario the Cardinals/Rams/Seahawks all finish at 9-8 but Seattle in that scenario would own the tie-breaker in the three-way tie between the teams.
Kyler Murray is not a Field General PERIOD! No running skills can make up his Size and Accuracy is not Top NFL caliber! I've never liked him from start to finish! His progression as a NFL Starter has not improved! Get what you can for him now! Before his Trade value of any goes more South than it is already!
Kyler is not the answer. They will never win consistently with him. He failed all season to elevate his teammates and lead his team. Failed to develop a connection with MHJ and other receivers. Cardinals need to cut ties and trade him as soon as the off-season starts. Get as much as you can for him. Then start over and draft someone. They would be better off hitting the reset button instead of watching him fumble through next season.
I've tried so hard to be a K1 defender... but today, I am OFFICIALLY indifferent to say the least... was the loss ALL ON HIM? No...our defense was atrocious! But K1 once again proved (at least IMHO) he isnt elite! Good? Sure but hes not consistent enough to be considered Elite like a Mahomes or Allen... he folds and cracks under pressure while QBs like Mahomes and Allen tend to thrive! Look all n' all this season has been an improvement at least in some ways! More then double your win total from last year. You can only hope to continue to improve and build going into next season! Despite the enormous cap space you question weither or not Bidwill is for once going to open his pocket book and Not be cheap like his penny pinching father... but next year is probably a MAKE or break year for both K1 and Gannon... Playoff or bust! Even though I'm griping with K1... i start to also believe Petzing deserves a chunk of the blame... the play calling feels more conservative than aggressive if anything! Very vanilla very bland! All I can hope for at this point is to finish strong! Our schedule next year looks to soften up quite a bit but we'll see after free agency and the draft!
