After op, the following day should stand & walk a bit inside the room so the digestive system will be in its proper functioning AND TO AVOID ADHESION OF INTESTINES (pagdidikit-diikit ng intertines). Did that, stood up and walked and wasn't allowed to eat until I farted because the digestive system not been in use so if already farted, it means the digestive system is ready to process food so no babying of oneself, got to stand up, little walking, and not just lying down.

Perhaps not Ave.. western way is get up and do things; oriental way is better-rest and avoid prolapse later on in life.
