@MartinLange1989 actually they did do something creative with it. they created a great conceptual hip hop song with it. just because you loop something doesn't make the resulting work any less creative. get out of that mentality.
@SlashPwnage I know what it is called and where it is used, but usually you add something to make it your own. I'm not saying that atcq did anything wrong by using this sample, I'm just pointing out that they just took this sample. They did'nt flip it, they didn't do anything creative with it, they just took it.
I'm a huge hip hop lover, and a jazz one too, but i've got to admit that sample really was impressive for me until i learned music theory and jazz harmony ... Sample is really cool, but I'm affraid that doesn't make the music evolving, only rolling down on itself. Music producers must learn music and create something. This is why a lot of people feel that music was better back in the days, because today there's nothing new and fresh,
