I love your videos! Your timer to remind your son to go to work... I feel like I am a real friend, not just some name on a list. I love when Tania’s daughter comes in to show her something she's made, or Lulu shares a school assignment with Rachel, or Pam’s puppy Sunny starts chewing on a wire and she jumps up to grab him... THIS is reality TV. No married at first sight nonsense. I love these. Your instructions make it look pretty easy to make these. ❤️ Shirley
Adorbs! So cute and easy and it is fun watching the tyvek melt! LOL! That bee was huge! I'd have run for the hills early on with him close by! TFS the inspiration, Andrea!
LOL it's my second favourite too! My favourite is Turquoise. I've made beautiful serving bowls and plates using the colour chartreuse and black, they turned out from the kiln so beautiful. Michelle
I love the glue and paint everywhere, a true artist and so inspiring. My sons has such a fear of bees 🐝 your room would have been wrecked if that were he trying to escape that madness. Glad you didn’t get stung 🤗
In my area tyvek is very expensive. So I improvised! I have pets and pet food bags are made of a material very similar to tyvek. So I used that. Worked great as long as you are careful with the heat gun! They melt easily! Thanks for the video.
I love watching your process so much! And I am so glad to hear someone else needing alarms like I do! I also really love hearing the seagulls in the background.
The bee made a guest appearance! I burst out laughing! Love the seagulls in the background. It reminds me of a place I have lived on the Gulf of Mexico with Laughing Gulls.
Andrea, I always promised myself to craft with you, but I am always lost watching your video in amazement and listening to your giggles. regarding bee visitor, yes, I love bees and other insects too, but don't wish to be stung by one as well. LOL!
What a neat idea that’s really fussy but very elegant & detailed, thank you ....it’s a way to use up lots of little stuff that we collect & don’t know what to do with it........Yahhhh
I love burning Tyvek. I forgot about it. I had made some beads the kind where you cut the paper in a big long triangle and wrap it around a toothpick and then I colored them with metallic markers and burned it, I’d forgotten all about these, makes me want to revisit some of my old mixed media days.
I've never worked with Tyvek. Not sure if this is paper or tape? Super fun idea, and Heaven knows I have enough jewelry to make dangles for the world! Thank you! 😊❤🌻😊
Gretchen Koontz thank you, tyvek it a form of plastic but has a paper feel. I use it normally on the spine for reinforcement. I think the US have postal envelopes made from it as you can’t tear it. It’s actually for use on buildings etc but can be purchased in smaller A4 sheets instead of a huge roll. X
Oh Andrea, I love watching you create but hearing your giggles makes me laugh, you are so much fun to watch! Is the colour paint you struggled to pronounce, Chartreuse? If so, try saying it as ‘shar-troose’....if I’m pronouncing it wrong too, I’m sure someone will help us both out 😂😂😂😂❤️
Hi Andrea, I love your dangles so I made some from washi tape because I did not have any tyvek, just wrapped in washi tape and decorated them, quick and easy. I have bought your Alice downloads which I am going to make 1 for me ans another for my scrappy friend in New Zealand for Christmas an d I have just bought your Vintage Days which I love so I think I am going to be very busy, but can't wait to start.Keep up the great job you are doing appreciate it.Stay Safe Andre WA Australia.
Ok, so how in the world did you think up painting, wrap tyvek around a paper lip, and then burn it! You are totaling amazing. There are no words. Such a great project, and I love your “dangles” also. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Barb Pacific NW
I absolutely LOVE to do anything with beads, especially, dangles! This is such a fun way to create a different look. The burning effect is way cool. So glad you left your "flying visitor" in the video! Was laughing with you! 🐝🐝🐝 Thanks for the fun!! 💞 Suzy
Extremely creative, I do wonder how you come up with your ideas. Did you accidentally melt Tyvek once? You are also so good at assembly line production, knowing what you will need in the future. Love these Dangles. I live in Western Virginia, USA, in the woods, if we did not have screens in the windows we would have to almost shovel the bugs out. As it is there are an amazingly large number of tiny things that bite and sting that make it through the screens. If you walk the woods you get Chiggers, Ticks, and Poison Ivy. I am in a constant state of ITCH in the summer.
I love the crusty goodness you created when you heated the Tyvek strips. A- is there any way you can zoom in when you make these smaller items so we can really see them fully? Thx. XO
Thank yo for sharing this very clever idea? They are sooo pretty 🌺. I love artsy designed embellishments. Btw... I’m glad you kept the “bee incident” in your video. It was quite entertaining! I don’t blame you though.. I recently got stung myself and it wasn’t fun at all!
Jody Lynne you will have to google it as I don’t know where you are from, I normally use it to reinforce the spine of a journal as it’s exceptionally strong. X
You do ken we are all ordering Tyvek just to see it burn and bubble, don’t you lol Love making these dangles but this idea is brilliant. Your work of art will become something amazing xxxx
👏👏👏 those are SO cool! Andrea, do you think the burning technique would work if it wasn’t Tyvek paper but regular paper? I have Tyvek tape but not the paper. I continually marvel at how many “techniques “ you know.🧐. Cheers! 🥰
I had a swarm the one morning of bees in my craft room they were in our roof and they drilled a hole through our molding in the window and I thought it was a fly and it turned on the light like the overhead light and there was like 40 of them in my room me and my son were up at 3:00 in the morning killing them all with hairspray and newspapers
Genius, genius and gorgeous! I love your dangles so much, so pretty,I do wonder how you come up with these wonderful ideas, burning tyvek! Who’d have thought. By the way where is your Hobbycraft? I the reason I ask is because ,many years ago my mother and I were holidaying in Cornwall , I cannot remember were,. We were looking the “M&S “ so feeling frustrated we approached two locals ladies. Where’s the M&S , they giggled and said Plymouth! I wonder if things have changed since then.

Love how the Tyvac burns and think its awesome when you have painted them. I'm going to try this. TFS
Bee-utiful, and no bees were harmed in the making of this video! Excellent tutorial! 💚🦋💛🐞💙🐝
“Shar-truce” pronunciation of my second favourite colour: “chartreuse”
LOL it's my second favourite too! My favourite is Turquoise. I've made beautiful serving bowls and plates using the colour chartreuse and black, they turned out from the kiln so beautiful. Michelle
Not one of my favorite colors, but definitely one of my favorite words... 😂
@@SimplyTique LOLOLOL. It is a cool word!!
If you haven't tried chartreuse with turquoise or navy you should - lovely combinations.
This looks fun to try! I asked at a construction site for tyvek and they gave me a 4 x 3 foot piece!
I love the glue and paint everywhere, a true artist and so inspiring. My sons has such a fear of bees 🐝 your room would have been wrecked if that were he trying to escape that madness. Glad you didn’t get stung 🤗

Great way to use up the small Tyvek cutoff bits I've been saving. Always amazed to see what you come up with!
Your giggle is absolutely contagious. We need all the positivity & laughter we can have in these times. Thank you for sharing for paper clip project
They are wonderful dangles!! Very inspiring!! I love small things.
I love the sound of the seagulls in the background!
I loved watching the video and love the technique. It was so cool to watch the Tyvek get a bit melty. Beautiful dangles.
So tiny and cute! I loved.
It is amazing how much glue you can get on your fingers and hands at one time isn’t it.
How clever! So pretty pretty, and so clever.

I love your attention to detail. You are inspirational. Thank you.
Love these. I feel if I watch you wrap dangles enough it will be second nature to me and I will be able to do it. I am a visual learner.

How does the embellished clip clip on to a journal page/tag, etc? Have I missed something?
You can either use a jump ring or put the jump ring that’s attached on a paper clip. Xx
Love the little dangles Andrea. Beautiful inspiring. TFS HUgs Beate
Love the dangles they are beautiful
I love the crusty goodness you created when you heated the Tyvek strips. A- is there any way you can zoom in when you make these smaller items so we can really see them fully? Thx. XO
Wonderful ! thank you :)
What is the brand name of the acrylic paints your using? I heard Vintage days
Any what ever is at sale price. X
This is a great idea with the Tyvek! Love each one! TFS - Hugs, Christal
Question...how does the burning happen?? Heating tool, tyvek and or metallic from the paint used.
Deborah Bem the heat tool as tyvek is a form of plastic but feels like paper. X
I’ve made some with tyvek in rolled style and metallics too.
These are awesome! TYFS!
I love these. Love your accent and sense of humour - "Been working down the mine!" Think we all look like we have when crafting! LOL Best wishes,
So cool! Love them
😳😳omg a Bee....!!!!🤣🤣you sure were moving fast🤣🤣..You could have smacked him and used on a journal 👏👏🤣🤣🤣LOVE THE DANGLES 💜

So how do you attach them to the journal if you have covered both sides of the paperclip?
Susan Rutledge they are a dangle not used as a paper clip so I attach them with a jump ring I will find my other video. X

This technique is great! Blessings and Hugs 🤗
Beautiful dangles! How did you make those tiny flowers? You should try this with Tim Holtz tiny paper clips. :)
Where would I find some Tyvek, not familiar with it?
Jody Lynne you will have to google it as I don’t know where you are from, I normally use it to reinforce the spine of a journal as it’s exceptionally strong. X
@@artymaze I'm in the US...is that like carpet tape?
In US the Priority envelopes at PO are made from tyvek. You can also purchase it - just google.

The wire I got is in my not gauge. It’s either 0.8 or 0.6 x

Where do we get the Tyvek? Where do we get the dark paper clips?
The Tyvek I get off eBay. The paper clips are silver I colour them with alcohol ink. X
Beautiful. Thanks for showing how you get that look. Do you add a clasp to the jump ring on top of your dangle? Thanks in advance 💜💜💜✌✌Sherry
Sherry Liberto thank you I usually use a jump ring but to be honest you could use anything like a clasp. X
