But problem with HDFC is Low Intrest rate and No Zero Balance account ( They should atleast Decrease the Min Balance , I had to open an Account in SBI for that only otherwise I had to allways keep check on Balance so that I don't go below 10k) This Specially sucks in time of Emergency
As a former banker I will say go for ICICI. HDFC is chaotic from the inside. ICICI is way ahead on their customer experience initiatives.

absolutely right it took me 1 hour to figure out how to enable ECOM / Online transactions at ATM couldn't do it at any ATM easily as youtube tutorials didn't match had to keep trying
That's true but it also depends on the branch you're going. Also, I personally like ICICI Bank. It's too good. Even after coming outside, i could use my Indian account without any issues as long as you have that registered number for OTP. It's because they needed to do a new KYC. It's for safety only. I hate the inconvenience but it is beneficial too.

When I returned to India after 8 months they asked me to update my KYC. I did. Then few weeks later they called me again to do it. I Did it again.
Long story short I did it 11 times including 3 tries by the branch manager himself.
Still they couldn't update my KYC ( which incidentally remained same and needed no updating) 😂😂
I finally moved my money out and closed the account.
This is the problem of all the government banks in India.
I also faced a similar problem.
You can switch to private banks such as Kotak or HDFC

ICICI is really good because they have international branches so you can transfer from your overseas ICICI account in foreign country to ICICI India account. Even though it was HUGE HUGE HUGE headache for me to open an ICICI account in India. It was annoying as heck even after giving them all the documentation!
HDFC and Axis Bank are the best from a customer point of view but ICICI Bank has branches in US also.

I think you should shift to ICICI,HDFC AND Bank of baroda they have dedicated NRI services and they have branches in USA also.
That 24 hrs text limit is for scam prevention

i think you should not change bank, it is going to bank because there are lot of online frauds happening to prevent that they have made for safety measures
Ye toh kuch nahi ha bhaiya... Kabhi 12bje visit krye SBI bank.. Sidhe lunch ke bad aane ko bolenge even sirf documents submit krna ho toh bhi... Aese bank open toh 10 bajae ho jate ha pr.... Employees apna kaam 11bje start krte ha jab tak bank manager na aaj ye... Jesi hi manager aa jayenge... Link fail ka problem turant solve ho jayega... Employees ka itta rude behaviour rhta ha na ki kya hi bole... Aur aesa behaviour almost saara government employees ka hoota ha... .. Bhuat hi hurt 💔 hote ha.. ... Mai toh student hu.. Mai month ma 1 bar visit krta hu.. Bank... .. Mujhe toh aadat ho gya ha .. Ma chotta hu.. Pr maine humesa dekha ha jab bhi bank jata hu... Joo bhuat bujurg rhte ha dada , dadi.. Ko bhi wese hi treat krte ha.. Ye bhaut hi galat baat ha...aur racism , discrimination government employees hi krte ha..... That's very shameful.. 😢
This is a problem specific to your SBI branch. I have dealt with SBI employees in 4 different branches, 1 branch had exceptionally helpful staff, 2 were average in customer service but you get your work done fast and the last one was sub-par but it was a very busy branch and most of the customers were not digitally literate. Before criticizing, realize that SBI branches serve 3x more customers than pvt banks. You'll not get the special treatment like a pvt bank where there will be a dedicated employee assigned for you. But the bank charges are also 3x less compared to pvt. banks.

SBI Services in my Vasai City is Good. Yes when you take a New Airtel or Jio or BSNL Sim Card it takes 24 Hours for SMS Services to get activated, I think it's for Security reason.

I'm in a small city near in Mass, US and getting 1 Gbps mobile internet speed since years now LOL Considering that US is MASSIVE with less population, it's crazy.. And about that video incident, yes that's the Freedom in the US which you don't get elsewhere. Live somewhere else then you'll realise what you've in the US is heaven lmao.
People are getting fast internet even in backward villages of India and that too very very cheaply
6:05 bro when 5G started in Mumbai and when very few people had access to it, I use to get 500-600mbps easily even if tower is far. If tower is close by it use to cross 1gbps

bhai literally SBI is shit. When I went to India this time I had to change my mobile number in Axis and SBI. Axis bank took literally 1 minute to change my number but SBI me abhi tak nhi hua and I am back in the US. harr baar some issues.
that text message blocked for our security. If somehow clone our simcard they don't have access to reset to our various account from social media to mails or banking accounts. We get 24 hrs to recover it and be safe of losing our other accounts.

Bro yono sbi is dead nowadays but I would recommend you to not change your bank because I handle my mothers all online account system and she has account in few banks for some purpose and sbi has best services and like you were talking about nani's atm card it was also because you are using it after a long time they suspect if it's been stolen and all because in India you know bro....

I invested in US Stocks, bank through which transfer happened was SBI and stocks were $100. I went to SBI for kyc and they were suspicious about my us stocks transaction through kuvera.

You can withdraw upto 9999 from any ATM without OTP. I am not favour of these things which SBI do but in a country where saving is most important specially for poor and middle class these types of security is must, but yes for savings SBI is best and for day-to-day payments you can keep account in any private bank and keep upto 50k to 1lakh in private bank and rest in SBI.

HDFC mein account le lo , sab se achha hai bhai. sab online hota hai, 3 saal se Customer hoon ek din bhi bank nahi gaya, sab online kiya.
