Que Sera, Sera had a basic track featuring McCartney on acoustic guitar and Ringo Starr on drums. McCartney overdubbed bass guitar and lead guitar, the latter fed through a Leslie speaker, and Starr added more drums. Hopkin performed vocals and acoustic guitar. now you know, it's paul and ringo doing the whole thing.
the last time I heard this song it was on the radio and I was ten years old. this tune has stuck in my head all these years and I never knew who sang it. I only remembered this female voice and the guitar riff and the final verse "sing a song,,, Sing a song with me" I only remember hearing this song that one time. Is that weird? So now 41 years later I finally know who sang that song on the radio.
My mother strummed on the guitar and sang this song for us when I was a child. She was originally German, served in the R.C.A.F. and met the guy who was my dad , also in the R.C.A.F.
Actually, "Whatever Will Be, Will Be" must to be translated to the spanish as: "Lo Que Será, Será". I guess the song writer omitted the word "Lo" to match the music.
Thanks for this song of Mary'S. I bought Mary's Those were the days at Shinseido Diskstore in Ikspiari, the mall next to the Tokyo Disneyland (seen in this!) gate. CD code is TOCP-8307. Cerebrating Mary's Birthday, I hear almost whole days Mary's sweet and lovely voices last weekend and I found the back electric guitar maybe ca100% by Paul is just too simplest!, that Mary never be satisfied!! How do you think, Pat?
@drpachon no mi amigo, la de Josè Feliciano es la version de Che sarà sarà, una cancion italiana del festival de la canciòn italiana de sanremo cantada por Josè Feliciano y por "I ricchi e poveri". me parece en el 1970.
Around THE DAYS when I was an audience at her live, Mary agreed to be released upon Toshiba Musical Industry, today called EMI Music Japan, I've heard. correct?
it doesn't have to be one or the other, it's just an alternative. it's not about competition. now you can have two things to enjoy instead of just one, that's the way I look at cover versions of songs I like. sometimes an interpretation helps you to look at the first thing in a a different light and can help you appreciate it even more.
Adoro escuchar sus bellas y nostalgiosas canciones .... RECUERDOS DE UNA ÉPOCA DE MI ADOLESCENCIA QUE YA NO VOLVERÁ .....POR SIEMPRE MARY HOPKIN !!!!!

What an assured arranger and producer (and player) Paul was at this time . . .
Written by Jay Livingston & Ray Evans for the Hitchoch'movie " The Man Who Knew Too Much " 1956 with James Stewart, Doris Day & Daniel Gélin.

Nagyon SZÉP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hermosa canción clásica interpretada por mary. :)
as is the song 'Field of St. Etienne'.
Is this song standing for mother's big love for her children?
Pictures here are maybe all sceneries in Japan.
LA versión castellana de esta canción es de Connie Francis. La de José Feliciano es una versión de "Those were be the days"
Indeed helped from Beatles because she record her song under Apple Corps.
The bass is 100% McCartney.
This is the BEST version of said song.
Very similar in production and feel to Paul's "Another Day".
and I love her and yes Ive seen a face..her name is mary Hopkin
Produced by PaulMcCartney he wrote the extra bit and played on it also he had something to do with the Kren Young version
Thanks for this song of Mary'S.

This was actually first released in France on 19 September 1969.

Bellissima
Very similar in feel to McCartney's "Another Day" from the same time period.

Corny but true, and a pretty voice.

Lolz, cut time instead of waltz. This is super cute. Totally Beatles inspired is my guess.
So the acoustic guitar is probably either Mary herself, Paul, or both.
that's Harrison's guitar running through the Hammond Organ.
Could anyone tell me what "Que sera sera" means? It seems like French, doesn't it? Thank so much.
Sure sounds like 1970 Paul McCartney production.
Does anybody knows the lyrics, please?...
I love Mary Hopkin but this is Doris Day's song.
Connie Francis
I prefer Doris Day version :)
