I like very much except that I wish the some sort of heat-resistant silicone was incorporated in the design of the holder to prevent melting the plastic when stowing the Iron.
Are you planning to make a soldering iron for a different type of tip? I don’t trust the audio connector, I have one on my tweezers, it has worn out critically in a year, and no one will repair this product
0:10 ... oooh, Cordless... update your video title! ;-) Note; the soldering station is not really cordless. You meant to say; cordless soldering iron with control station (or charging base).
i have to get the tweezers from this video
3:05 What was the problem with making a refractory stand?
After compromising on design, materials, cost and many other aspects, we chose the current solution.
There needs to be a way to just manually put it into standby mode without having to unplug it or unpair the iron.
Pretty cool I'm gonna get this for sure

Agree, as this had to even be clearly pointed out in the video how to stow the iron. You (or someone else) will forget about this....
@@gbraadnl Precisely.

Yes, we have other connector plans.
are you going to open source code and provide support to ironos to add support for this iron?
We'll try to make it work.
Crodless? Not sure what that is... Edit: Got updated 😀
