Love this, so good hearing someone talk proper bait. I’ve been fishing since my teens and I’ve seen baits go from bright fluro colours to washed out colours, made of mostly cereals etc so just bulked out crap. But after running a marine tank for a while it’s really opened my eyes to how fish react to different foods and how naturals are the most attractive….as my fish eat critters all day. Why I think maggots will always be a great bait! Not that I’m slating man made baits as I use them as we don’t really have much choice in a way. But I do like the fact there using bugs and daphnia etc as these are foods my fish go mad for and happily leave the pellets! But also I like that it’s being regulated now, after being an engineer in the food industry for years that bait companies have been able to get away with just chucking anything in there baits as it’s not just the fishes water that’s becoming contaminated it’s our water source it’s all a knock on, and it’s like leads I wonder once those coating wear off and breakdown will we find high levels of lead within that water system. So yeah love this!
He understands bait and its importance of how it should work and what it is doing in the long term. Spot on... so many people don't understand the concept of good bait .and I'm happy about that because I catch loads using good bait knowing that the bloke in the next swim is using a sh!t bait .
you wont be dissapointed, i use the jungle range with some of the pallatrax naturals and have caught when others havent, have a look at the range of stonze and gripz hooks aswell 😁
I agree with a lot he says but come on a squab on a incline would still roll down and fish are like any animal if hungry they will eat just look at the American pack baits l made one once oats sweetcorn sardines and chicken soup in a plastic bag shake it about and put it round your lead caught lot's of carp
Multi worm is an amazing bait Unfortunately it really doesn’t smell and carp anglers associate a bait that has an amazing smell But what it lacks in smell it certainly catches fish
All the baits I make have all full vitamin macro nutrients nutrients trace elements things in for the immune system digestive system fin repair etc everything I use is science based and fish health and safety.
This guy is talking about growing fish and feeding them quality food (in this case, his products 😅) not about hooking them. I’ve been fishing for carp for more than 15 years and I ve caught carp on plums, cherry, insects, worms, bread, dog food, cat food, expensive boilies, cheap boilies, pop ups, foam, piece of rubber etc. It’s true that a carp will probably choose a hnv bait instead of a cheap one, but if the only thing he has in front of his eyes is a cheap, low nutritional bait, he will eat it if he is hungry. For me what’s important is to hook the fish and not mass feed it with super quality bait. That’s the responsibility of the fishery’s owners. I’ve stopped for years filling the pockets of bait companies who try to sell you all different kind of bollocks baits and I’m now fishing my own home made cheap baits and it works flawlessly. Remember this: most of the bait companies are selling you bait that hooks the angler, not the fish. :) Be confident in your hookbait and you will catch anywhere, every time.
Sounds like he really knows bait if your uneducated on the subject. If you are a bait geek you realise he’s talking a lot of old tosh to sell he’s bait. 😂
Completely agree, if you have a negative opinion then back it up with at least 1 example. Sounds like your putting yourself in the bracket of being educated on bait make up and fish response……so let’s hear it then as I’d love to know
“Bait geek” 😂 if you had any clue about bait you’d know what’s his saying is correct. Even if you where the best bait maker in the world it don’t mean you have to go round sh*ting on other people’s baits don’t matter what you know if your a d*ck. 😆🤷♂️

i know he's a business man bit i for one agree with every word he's saying
Very interesting story.
Having my go to bait Maker retiring definitely going to give this brand a go, after watching this.

These look brill
proper hnv food not just a lure or ball of flavoured flour
Hopefully conversations like this might stop people putting in copious amounts of salt, chillie oil, fish oil etc etc into their spod mixes
Love a bit of bait talk

Perhaps you could expand on your 'conclusions'? Shame that you have taken such a flawed position when in fact everything here is 100% fact.
