  • Here I go over my favorite secret writers (nail, thumb, etc) and why.
    There will be a follow up unlisted (non-public) video up soon to accompany this one. Details throughout this video.
    All of these can be found through any of your favorite magic vendors. I recommend simple searching "vernet writer" to get an idea of what you looking for, and from there you can refine your search for other brands and writers.

    I see that no one has reviewed black note by smagic production, it will arrive tomorrow and I hope I haven't done a bullshit, in the trailer it says without any thumbs etc etc ... what do you think? It's a valid product ... why is no one talking about it?

      I’ve honestly never heard of it myself man. No thumbs.. thumb writer? I honestly have no idea.

      Hey! I’ll look into it :) trying to really watch my spending and not go over what I can afford. Especially with the events that have already taken place in 2024

    Please next time you do a "list" at least pick the box you are talking about. It is so hard to know which product you talking about (even more since you have no marks on your video timeline).

      The boxes are all the same. They look identical. Just watch the review and i say which is my favorite.

    Hi Chris! Loved the tips. Was wondering if you have thoughts about the Eternal Writer by Kevin Cunliffe? Don't think I heard it from this one.

    • @ChrisEdwardsMagic
      @ChrisEdwardsMagic  Год назад

      Anytime man! I mentioned it in my unlisted video that I filmed this morning. It'll be uploaded tomorrow morning. Unfortuantely I have no personal experience with it. I was wanting to pick it up for review but for my country the shipping was more than the writer and I couldn't justify paying that kind of shipping for a thumb tip

      @@ChrisEdwardsMagic looking forward to it! if you want we can have a zoom call to discuss this more. I'm new with secret writers so I am not sure if my good experience with it is comparable to those who are professional secret writers. :)

    Would Octopalm work with the Boon writer? I'm looking forward to the "exposure"video tomorrow or soon at least.

    • @TAROTAI
      @TAROTAI Год назад +2

      As a heads-up - Octopalm becomes dehydrated & quite hard in about 7 or 8 months, in my experience. All the same, if you don't have sweaty hands/fingers, the boon writer (not my favourite) does the work well enough. Hope that helps.

    • @ChrisEdwardsMagic
      @ChrisEdwardsMagic  Год назад

      I don't have experience with octopalm myself. I really dislike the feeling of anything on my hands. But with that said maybe you don't notice it. The other issue I have with the boon is because of the small surface area, even if it stuck perfectly I feel like there would still be too much movement for me but that's just a guess.

      I like the thumb tip and the band writer

    I've tried a bunch-- the Vernet Band writer has worked well for me. Unfortunately, I developed a tremor in my right hand 6 mos ago-- so when my thumb is "jumping around" it makes it very hard to write clean. Interesting that you like the thumb tip writer the most-- I think I do have one of those-- will have to give it another try. Thanks so much.!! Great, thorough presentation-- Thanks.

    • @ChrisEdwardsMagic
      @ChrisEdwardsMagic  Год назад

      Ahh yeah thats understandable. I do still really like the band writer. I just find the thumb tip I have a little more control and I can take it off and put it back on very quick with one hand.

      @@ChrisEdwardsMagic Also, I have always gone for pencil-- do you prefer grease or pencil more? Sorry for the questions-- just want to get a few that would be best for me. Thanks so much.

    • @ChrisEdwardsMagic
      @ChrisEdwardsMagic  Год назад

      Hey man don't be sorry! Happy to answer and questions or chat. I prefer pencil but if I'm performing for a larger audience or an environtment like stage or parlor I use grease.

      @@ChrisEdwardsMagic Great to know-- thanks so much. I have around 5 of the Band Writers, and one TT Writer-- all pencil. I never gave the Vernet TT Writer a real go-- so when I get back home tonight I'll try it out. Stability is key for me because of this shaky thumb. Thanks so much and I'll try out my one Vernet TT tonight-- and order some more if I find I prefer it. Makes sense that it would be easier to get into and out of vs the Band writer.Always really in depth, interesting presentations !!!
