for anyone doing this around oct 2024, I suggest using the python version shown in this video as i was stuck using a later version. Use 3.10.9. My later version was getting stuck on the py -3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt section with error code "Getting requirements to build wheel did not run successfully"

Hello - I am experiencing a failure after Cmake generation is complete, but when I try to Build All and it gives me an error line stating "ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed". any idea what may be causing this? Any help is greatly appreciated! thank you!
I was having an issue doing this as well recently, I ended up fixing it by uninstalling Visual Studio 2022, and installing Visual studio 2019 instead, after the cmake initialization was done, i did build all and it finally worked
The build all part of the video fails for me every time with 60-70 errors and 700 warnings. I followed the guide to the tee and even tried rebuilding and clearing all but nothing. Disabling read only for the AirSkyBoat folder will automatically revert back to read only so I can't confirm if that is the issue or not.

mine stuck on "download data" forever....reinstalled 3 times... so sad...
