This is sung in 台語....very much like 福建語. Also, this photo is in Taiwan in the 1930s. From 1895-1945, Taiwan was considered a Japanese colony, so it is common to find Taiwanese photos and film of them wearing Japanese style clothing. Many Taiwanese during this time even had Japanese names. Even the singers in the 1950s and 1960s had Japanese style names: 美紅; 露霞; 淑美; 麗花; 美雲; 蘭花; 麗珠....
