- President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivers his fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Joint Session of the 18th Congress at the Session Hall of the House of Representatives Complex in Constitution Hills, Quezon City on July 22, 2019.
Around 2,000 guests composed of former Presidents, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, Supreme Court Justices, members of the Diplomatic Corps, heads of Constitutional Commissions, Cabinet Secretaries, key officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP), and other national government officials and invited guests convene to witness the historic event.

I've been traveling to the Philippines for the last 4yrs to see my girlfriend..every time gets better..thank you Mr President for making the changes in making the Philippines great again👍and it just shows how much you appreciate the normal Filipino in taking the time to stop and sing with the beautiful orchestra at the end..like you say many times your not a stuck up political person who is just trying to line his own pocket.. your a normal down to earth guy who is trying to make your country better...I applaude you sir....Salamat...God bless the Philippines.

I have been to your country twice and spent 3 years researching, planning and preparing to live there. The food is pure and not ruined with chemicals like here in the USA. The treasure of the Philippines is its people and I have been treated with respect that is lacking in my own country. The fact that I am listening to your President should tell you of my interest in the Philippines and support the plans to improve the Nation.

I have never watched any SONA of any former President of the Philippines, I have No interest at all, but when President Duterte became a President, I made sure I am awake and listen to every word he says. Our dear PRRD mayor tatay digong always amazed me every time he gave us his SONA. why? because in every SONA speech, what is said in there i see the effort and hard work he did for our government and it's people to prosper and succeed despite of so many challenges facing this administration. with that, we felt so many changes in our country under his leadership. i am overwhelmingly grateful that he is our President because of he is a Man of Honor , a very patriotic leader, a true role model to all of us most especially to our government officials. The remaining 3years of his term, i know PRRD will be getting stricter to all corrupt officials,in war on drugs and terrorism.
In my opinion, on Death Penalty reimplementation,would be a great idea for heinous crimes, illegal drugs, and of course to all plunderer inside government. if this will be implemented again, we need a leader like PRRD who see to it that there will be a balance in justice.
on west phil sea conflict, i see nothing wrong with PRRD's dealings in handling the situation. in fact, he is brilliant because he protect us from having over heated arguments and we even knew, we cant in force our claims for now. and so, this political enemies of his is trying to make him look bad and pull him down to whatever they thrown against him,which i really dont like because supposedly this time of struggle we must be united as one on solving this conflict. set aside political colors that keeps us divided.
On LGU issue, i am glad that PRRD directly advised this govt officials upfront. so excited to see them working clean.hopefully lol 🤣
