I am a fan of Pink Floyd all of my life and have seen them several times. Since 5 years Nightwish belongs to my top bands I ever herd and/or seen. This is the ultimate tribute from an exceptional band to an exceptional band.
Nightwish is using the keyboards to simulate the Pink Floyd big bell they use when playing the song. I saw PF play this live on the Division Bell tour, and they had a big bell on stage for the song.

I’m new to nightwish as well I’ve watched a ton of reactions to this as it’s amazing. Big fan of the original but at same time not really followed pink Floyd. I suppose some things just hit you in the feels and this does.
I myself prefer this more angsty version to the more melancholic one of Pink Floyd.
