I'm Daiki, originally from Kyoto, Japan. I moved to Finland for my masters degree in business in 2016 and now I'm working in the capital area, Helsinki. Through this channel I'm hoping to share my experience in Finland and sometimes abroad, including culture, career, lifestyle and travel diaries.

I’m a bit scared of flying but your relaxed mood while in the airplane helps me also to take it easy😊 I also enjoy watching your other videos! Great video. Made me miss flying. The curry in the lounge looked really yummy! The food in finnair flights has been disappointing recently. Not everyone is vegetarian.

Thank you for this wondeful video, gives me travel fever! ✈️ In your opinion, would two weeks be enough to travel to Japan? There's so much I'd love to experience, but mainly the island of Tsushima, Fukuoka and hiking up Mt. Fuji.
If you travel in Japan, two weeks is good but of course if it's possible it might be better to have longer days! Instead of moving around everyday, you could use some days just to visit local shops, hang around and drop by some coffee shops etc...😀

Hi Daiki, Just wondering why you don't fly with JAL? Is FinnAir cheaper or do they have better service & better loyalty programs? I am looking at flying Sydney to Tokyo then Helsinki seems like my best price is Qantas then FinnAir about $3,000 Aussie dollars for a return ticket.
JAL doesn't fly to Osaka, only to Tokyo. Yes, JAL has better food options tbh.

Has the flight to Japan always been so long or is it just because they're staying out of russian airspace?
Because of the war. Previously it took only 9 hours!
@@DAIKIFinlandLife Well that's a bummer but I hope at least there's some nice views. And ofc it's better to be safe than sorry. Without going too much into politics, I guess I'd rather take even a 24h flight than flying in the airspace of a terrorist state that has been known for downing commercial flights 😰
