Mahayana Buddhism developed more than 600 years after Buddha, so it contains a lot of teachings which deviate from the original teachings of Buddha. Amitabha sutta came 1000 years after Buddha.
Buddha never said there are 84000 doors to nibbana. He said there are 84000 dhamma in pali, which means 84000 truths. He said the only path to nibbana is the noble eightfold path consisting of virtue, concentration and wisdom. So go back to original Buddhism.

It doesn't matter when Buddha's teachings was recorded as one understands this:
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it".

You only know part of kalama sutta. But you do not know that original suttas also said
1). The pure dhamma would only last 500 years. This correctly predicted the emergence of adulterated Mahayana texts.
2). In future when someone claim that something is taught by the Buddha, if it contradict the dhamma vinaya spoken earlier by Buddha, then the claim of new teachings cannot be true. Don't you know Mahayana texts have major contradictions with original suttas? And Mahayana texts are so unreliable that there are also many different versions of the same Mahayana texts.
3). The only way to nibbana is the noble 8 fold path consisting of virtue, concentration and wisdom. But Mahayana texts claim there are 84000 dhamma doors to liberation. So Mahayana sutta chanting can also lead to liberation. This is a gross misinterpretation of 84000 dhammas in pali which actually mean 84000 truths/facts, not dhamma doors. Hence Mahayanists hardly meditate and cannot even go into deep concentration. So they cannot cleanse and sufficiently still their mind to even start cultivating wisdom. No wonder Mahayana texts hardly discuss how to use insight vipassana to cultivate wisdom.
You can believe what you want but don't embarrass Buddhism. Cheers.
